"Arghhhh!"

Once? Twice? Thrice?

Godness gracious. I can't count how many times I glanced sharply at my door 'cause whenever my gazes lands on it's doorframe, all of the memories and annoying tactics that was done to me by that Uno guy came rushing to my brain spontaneously.

My god. That guy was really out of his mind. Didn't he know how dangerous the move that he did earlier? Probably not.

We are both CF patients which means, both of our lives was putted in a critical situation earlier. In addition to that, he wasn't even wearing a mask or any Personal Protective Equipment when he approached me. What a stupid moron.

Alright, I know you're still confused about my "so called condition"  so, I'll repeat my explanation once again.

We, CF patients are strictly kept six feet apart from each other to reduce the risk of cross-infection. Because contracting bacterial infections from each other can be dangerous for us.

It's even life-threatening.

Yeah. In short, we can practically die from this condition once we came contact with each other.

So, I guess, you know where my anger is coming from now, right?

Like I've said before, even though I don't really like the state of my life now, I don't have a damn intention of dying. I still have that dream of wanting to live like a normal human being. I didn't even live my life to the fullest 'cause the boundaries and rules of my sickness are stopping me.

"Ms. McCain?"

Speaking of rules. Here it comes now...

I tiredly closed my eyes and dominantly shrugged away my thoughts about that guy. I lay my body, facing my back to the direction of the door and let Nurse Jia finally enter. I think, I'll pretend that I'm asleep for the meantime 'cause there's no way that I wanted to see the medicine that she'll inject me or even the record of my condition whether I've improved or not. By the way, I'm sure my records didn't change at all. Most likely, they'll  became worst.

A lot of weird and painful things happened to me today and that made me hella tired as fuck. I need a break. Even for just a few seconds.

"I know you're not asleep. Don't fool me, Sea. That trick doesn't work for me anymore."

My supposedly best-actress-scene was cutted off. I shrink my eyes open and immediately turn my body sidewards to where the voice was coming from, "Nurse Christine?!" I shouted as I bring my sick ass to perform an indian sit on the bed. Why is she here?

"What are are you doin' here? I-I mean, I thought you'd be with your grandmother for a week, right? " With my forehead undeniably creasing, I asked her out. I quickly glance at Nurse Jia which was standing by my side and pierced a questionable gaze to her. She said last time, this current week my private nurse will be gone 'cause she will take care of her grandmother on their province. And as far as I know, it hasn't been a day since she left. How come she came back so early?

"You little bitch. It's seems like you're telling me that you don't want me back here, huh? Come here, let me pinch you." She pluck her checkboard hardly towards me and narrowed her eyes after. What the heck...

I was in the verge of crying while touching my head. Real ouch. This nurse of mine is really freakin' different! She's a total brutal. I shifted my burning gaze to Nurse Jia who was was secretly laughing. I sighed. Why are they still the nurses assigned to me? Can I replace them with others, instead?

"I was just asking! Why you're so mean to me!" I pouted at those two and slide my eyes in the direction of the door just to turn my attention to other things.

But, I didn't expect that something else would bing my attention.

My mouth secretly gasped when I saw that there was a piece of sticky note that slid in the door, which was most likely coming from outside this room.  Oh gosh! That must be from that freaky guy next door!

"Don't worry, Sea. I'll just hang on here for a bit. I'll be surely going back to my grandma later. It's just that I wanted to really passed by and check on you 'cause I'm worried that you might not take your medicines again. You stubborn teen."

"You're right there, Nurse Christine. Our patient is really stubborn. But, isn't it situated that way? I mean no head is soft, right? Every single head in us is really hard?"

"Yuck! What you're saying, Jia is in green zone. You must shut up, girl."

"Huh? Green zone? What? No, listen. What am saying is that一"

I simply just ignored the nonsensical conversation between my two childish nurses, because my brain was already busy processing ideas on how to get rid of that sticky note on the floor without the two of them noticing me.

Freak! I can't let them see it! They shouldn't see that piece of paper! They will wonder where - err - I mean whom it came from. I'm sure I'll be really damned because I think, that sticky note is from that bastard guy who is luring next onto my door. That guy was such a pain in the ass!

"Oh! Blah Blah Blah! Whatever you say, Jia. Let's just go and do rounds on the first floor."

Panicking, I returned my gaze to the nurses. They are planning to leave! I'll be really dead, they might see the note! Oh no! What to do?! What to do?!

"Sea, Jia will come back later to check on you again huh? Bye bye 一"

"Wait!" I suddenly blurted out while both of my hands are suspended in the mid-air. They both stopped and were obviously surprised by my sudden scream. I laughed nervously when I saw their questioning faces.

"He-he-he. Ahm, just a moment. I- I had something to say. Uhm it's about the... the... the..."

"About what?" In chorus, they curiously asked me. I can't help but to bite my upper lip 'cause I don't know what other alibi do I have to add. I can't think of any possible reasons!

Shit. Hey, my sickly brain! Help! Give me ideas, please!

"What are you trying to 一"

"It's about the CR! It's clogged!" I immediately interupted Nurse Jia and blurted out what my mind has processed. Not minding that I just shouted a freakin stupid and non-sense answer because of the panic rising in my system. I absentmindly slap my forehead in my thoughts. Great, Sea. The CR is clogged? What kind of reason is that?!

"Huh? The cr's clogged? What? Why?" Nurse Jia replied on the other hand. I swallowed the lump on my throat and blink nervously. Oh god. I almost forgot that Nurse Jia likes to beseech for following questions cause she's always not satisfied with just only one answer.

"You dumb!" I winced when Nurse Christine's checkboard landed on the poor girls's back. She surely likes to whip others, huh?

"Do you think, Sea knows why the cr's clogged out? Why? Is she a plumber or a broken bathroom worker for you? You're not thinking straight, aren't you?" She also added afterwards then violently dragged Nurse Jia into the bathroom.

And that cues me to rose up from my bed and head towards the direction of that damn sticky note. I could feel like I am a thief in the modesty of my movements. When I've finally reached my destination, I stepped on the paper with my other foot to temporarily cover it because the two hadn't entered the bathroom fully yet.

I peeked and when I've made sure that they're already in, I did my mission. While bitting my lower lip, I was about to reached the paper 一

"Where's the one in fault or darn broken in here, Sea? The toilet or the sink?"

Faster than lightning, I restored my posture and acted like nothing strangely happened. I smiled rawly at Nurse Christine who has a look of astonishment towards my direction.

"Ahm, it's the toilet?" I said, more like, giving an uneducated guess. Darn it. My voice sounds like I'm unsure of what I'm saying. They might notice that I am just lying! Oh no...

"Ah. Ok. All right. We'll take care of it."

I heaved a deep sigh of relief. Fudge. That was close. Good thing, Nurse Christine is also a bit dumb. Same as Nurse Jia. It's easy to make them believe in you as long as you're good at pretending. Hey, but even if they're both dumb at times, I still love them.

I made sure they really got in before bending down again and immediately picking up the sticky note. I simply pinned it to the sleeves of my long uniform (Hospital gown, I mean) and headed back to my bed.

"You both take care of that, ok? I'll just have a nap!" I shouted at the two and reactivated my actress mode and pretended to be asleep again. I turned my back at the direction of the bathroom where they are in, and swiftly closed my eyes.

Of course, I won't take a nap. Don't be fooled guys. I'll just simply wait until they leave my room and then if that happens, I'll get up and throw away this little-piece-of-shit-paper.

After a minute or two, realizing that my bathroom has no clogged bowls and it's perfectly fine, the two nurses made their way out while uttering these words, "That little cunning girl. We were fooled again, Jia. There was nothing wrong with her toilet, aish! "

I just secretly laughed at all their complaints. Ain't my fault. It's just that they quickly believed 'my-oh-so-good-alibi'. What a certified fools.

While still chuckling, I decided to end my pretend asleep session and stand up. I went straight to the door and briefly locked it. Just for safety purposes. For when someone decides to barge in, I'm safe and they will never know that someone sent me a sticky note.

Speaking of that goddamn note, I'm still contemplating on wheter I'll open it or nah. I'm sure the contents are worthless. But, yeah. I'm still kind so I'll read it even that's against my will.

The paper was crumpled earlier but, I think I crumpled it even more now because of the kind of intensity that I am holding it. I bit the insides of my cheeks as I try to calm down my system. Breath in and breathe out, Sea. You've got this. Just calm down...

But no matter what I do, no matter how many deep breaths I take, my blood pressure never really goes down!

Gosh! That Uno guy is really getting into my nerves! His arrogance! His personality! I hate it! I hate him! I loathe him!
