Kabanata 6

I open the door before putting back the keys in the vase and proceed to the kitchen, Light put his arm around my shoulders. I saw Kuya Veron, Von, Avianna, Alondra, Veronica, Sebastian, Dark, Axon, and Valentin. The girls are on their phone and the boys are holding a can of beer.

"It's late, why are you all still here?" I ask, breaking their silence. I took the pitcher out of the refrigerator and put a pour on a glass of water, I straightly drink it and put it in the sink.

I look at my phone and it's already 8:30 in the evening. God, ganon pala kami katagal magkasama ni Light.

I walk out in the kitchen because no one dares to answer me, but I suddenly remember if they all eat dinner. Of course not, tinatanong pa ba 'yon? Tss. I walk back through the kitchen again and I saw them looking at me.

"Did you all eat dinner na?" Maarte kong tinanong, at tinaasan sila ng kilay at tinignan isa-isa, pinagkrus ko pa ang braso ko.

"No, we're not yet kumakain ng dinner," Sebastian mocked me, and his eyebrows raised too. My face wrinkled and they all laugh at my reaction.

I go straight to the refrigerator before checking the raw dishes, I'm going to cook sisig, my top specialty. That's also Sebastian, Light and Dark's top favorite among the foods I served. Of course, I made some salad for myself dahil hindi rin naman sila kumakain nito.

Pagkatapos kong mag-saing ay hininaan ko ang apoy ng sisig, pinahalo-halo ko kay Light 'yon at nagpaalam na maliligo lang bago kumain.

Pagkatapos kong maligo ay bumaba ako, iba na muli ang suot ko, shorts and a big white shirt that reaches my thighs and a Havaianas. I comb my hair and let it down but I still put my hair binder on my right wrist.

I go down to proceed to the kitchen, of course, ako pa rin ang naghain!

"Sampu ang mga kasamahan ko, ako ang nagluto, ako ang naghain, baka ako pa ang maghugas ng mga pinggan ninyo," pagpaparinig ko sa kanila habang tinatali ang buhok ko at papalapit sa lalagyanan ng mga utensils at hinahain ang plato sa harapan nila ng padabog.

Kinuha ko ang dalawang pitsel ng tubig at utensils. Kinuha ko na rin ang ulam at ang kanin.

"Kami ba pinapatamaan mo?" Parang tangang tanong ni Sebastian.

"What do you think?" prangkang sagot ko at ngumuwing tumingin sa kaniya.

"Hindi ko sure," tangang sagot niya ulit.

"You're so epal, you shut up." Masungit na sagot ko sa kaniya.

"I'm so epal, I'll tahimik na." He mocked me. Tumawa naman ang iba, I didn't mind him.

Umupo ako sa center table sa kaliwa ay si Light, Veron, Von, Valentin at Axon. Sa kanan ko naman ay si Sebastian, Avianna, Alondra, Veronica at Dark.

Sa akin palagi unang napupunta ang pagkain, hanggang sa magpasa-pasa hanggang sa makarating sa dulo para hindi magulo.

I only got at least 15 tablespoons of food and I had eaten a salad, I drank 1 glass of water. And on my usual routine, I get dog foods for Keres, Amren, and Mazu.

"Dalawa sainyo wash the dishes. Pagbalik ko I want to see the table clean, no utensils, no beers and alcohols, no things on the top." I said before walking out of the dining area and proceed to the front house where Mazu, Amren, and Keres were.

I get Mazu because he's the youngest among all of them, Amren's bigger than Mazu. Amren is above my waist and Mazu's still below my waist because he's a few years younger than Amren.

I'm much spoiling Mazu because he's the sweetest. I let him walk with me towards the kitchen, our friends are still here. Mga wala yatang balak umuwi ang mga 'to.

I look at the table and I didn't saw the utensils, the plates and the pitcher on it. Thank God at may nagtangkang maglinis din!

"Where're the dishes? Sinong Poncio Pilato ang sumapi?" I ask while getting a glass and pouring water and drink it, I straightly drank 4 glass of water.

While walking towards the sink while looking at Mazu who's playing with Valentin.

"What the hell?!" I screamed the freaking dishes are still at the sink, nakatambak na parang batang basta-basta na lang naglagay ng plato!

Narinig ko naman ang nakakabinging tawanan nila sa naging reaksyon ko dahil akala ko ay may nag-initiative na mag-hugas ng plato.

"Veron, you'll wash the dishes up until the end of the month," huling sinabi ko, "Mazu, come with me." Pagtawag ko kay Mazu na nilalaro naman si Dark.

"Oh, fuck, that's bad. Good luck, my loving brother." I heard Von teasing Kuya Veron.

"May your soul rest in peace, Marco Veron Castel," Light also tease Kuya.

"Fuckers," Kuya curse them. I laugh secretly.

Pagkalapit sa akin ni Mazu ay naglakad kami papuntang kwarto ko, pero papasok na ako ng kwarto ay may humawak sa pulsuhan ko.

Pagkalingon ko ay nakita ko si Valentin na nakatingin sa akin ng seryoso, tumingin ako sa kamay niyang nakahawak sa akin at tsaka muling tumingin sa kaniya ng naka-kunot ang noo.

Tumingin din siya sa kamay niyang naka-hawak sa akin bago tumingin sa akin at binitawan ang kamay ko.

"What?"

He bit the sides of his cheek, preventing him to speak. He looked up and let out a heavy sigh before looking at me.

"Can I have your number?" He suddenly asks.

"What for?"

He didn't answer me, instead, I just open my phone and I showed it to him so he could see my number. He just look at it and didn't take his phone out, he just left me with Mazu beside me.

Tinanga niya ba ako or what? I let out a heavy sigh before going inside my room and take a quick shower again and do my skincare. I open my laptop to see if there are any new emails for me.

There are new, it's just all about offering me to be their model. And what do I expect? I'm the only girl in the family, even the part of my Castel cousins, they're all boys and I'm the only girl that lives in the Castel Clan, they're always giving me special treatment.

I shut down my laptop and put it in my study table. I scroll on my social media accounts using my phone, while scrolling, an unknown text message was sent to me.

Wait, what the hell?

mo ba mama mo? Kung oo, send mo 'to sa sampu na tao kung hindi mas papangit ka.

And I just realize that maybe it's Valentin, how did he know my number when he didn't even type it on his phone. I changed his name on my phone.

Valentin Constantine:

How long will he reply in my last text? So I put my phone on the side table and started lying down on my bed and hug Mazu who's already sleeping beside me. As I close my eyes, my phone suddenly vibrated. I click the home button of my phone.

Valentin Constantine:

meet me outside your village on your birthday at 6:00 AM. I'll just take you somewhere before your party starts. goodnight, sweet dreams.

I read it twice because I'm confused why would he see me morning on my birthday if we can see each other during my party? But he said that we'll go somewhere?

Why is it a big impact on me? Malay ko bang baka ipakita niya sa akin ang free trial sa impyerno o baka free trial sa langit? I just let myself sleep and hug Mazu again.

I woke up at 7:15 in the morning, my class starts at 8 o'clock. I cooked breakfast.. bacon, egg, fried rice and prepare a mango juice. I did my morning routine and wear my uniform.

A checkered red and black slacks, a plain white long-sleeve polo, a white lace I.D., and my normal high shoes. After, I go to Von's room to wake him up, same with Veron with two bottles of water in my hand. They always wake up late, kaya ako na ang gumigising sa kanila.

I spilled Kuya Veron's cold water on his tummy, bago pa siya maka-react ay naglakad na ako papunta sa kwarto ni Von, and did the same.

I sit on the center table, hindi ko na hinintay ang mga kapatid ko, for sure they'll just glare at to death. I eat my breakfast peacefully. Sa huling subo ko ng kanin ay narinig ko ang yapak ng mga paa ng dalawa kong kapatid. I drink my juice, nang umupo sila ay tumayo na ako.

"I'll go ahead. See you later. I'll cook dinner later, umuwi kayo ng maaga kung ayaw niyong ipakain ko kila Mazu ang dapat kakainin ninyo," I said while putting my plate on the sink. "Veron, it's your day. Wash and clean the dishes well," I heard him mutter a curse, while Von just laugh.

"Take care, Pangit. We'll see you later. Don't flirt, they first need to face my fist," I just rolled my eyes to Veron before leaving the house. I go to my big motor. My schedule is different every day, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday doesn't need a uniform. Only on Mondays.

I parked my car in the parking lot, I go to my classroom. I saw Sebastian talking with his male friends while sitting on the chair. Alondra is reading a book. Well, I already study yesterday so I don't need to study anymore though.

"Good morning, Mavivi!" Sebastian's voice thundered in the classroom. Our schoolmates always misinterpret the way he calls me because it sounds like "My baby". I looked at him while his friends are laughing, he walks towards me, I rolled my eyes and punch his chest. He groaned causing his friends to thunder a laugh.

Sebastian just kept on talking beside me. Sinandal ko ang ulo ko sa upuan ko, I close my eyes and review the topics we'll test later. Napaka-ingay mo, Sebastian.

"Ang ingay mo, Seb. Manahimik ka ang sarap-sarap mong-" He interrupt me.

"Alam kong masarap ako." Nagmulat ako ng mata, I saw him smirking at me. Nakapalumbaba ito at nakatingin sa akin.

"Asa. Ang sarap-sarap mong ipalapa kay Mazu at Amren, isama na natin si Keres."

Last year... I bring Sebastian, Alondra, and Avianna in the house. Mazu jumped very high to Sebastian causing him to lie on the ground, and there's Amren.. who bite Sebastian on his legs. I literally panicked and laugh hard as we reached the hospital. He literally panicked with his teary eyes and kept on asking if magiging aso na rin daw ba siya. What a freak.

Mas na-stress pa ako kung paano siya mapa-kalma keysa sa kagat sa kaniya ni Amren. There's the devil sister and Avianna who kept of saying na magiging aso raw siya pagsapit ng gabi, sa umaga naman daw ay magiging tao siya.

I saw fear on Sebastian's eyes. I heard Veronica and Alondra's laugh on Sebastian's. Sasagot pa sana si Sebastian nang biglang dumating ang prof namin. Pagkatapos niyang ilapag ang gamit na dala niyang white board marker at board eraser ay tinignan niya kami isa-isa.
