Though he knew he had to get to the office, he didn’t want to leave her right after he had married her. He kissed her cheek. “I love you, honey.” He said, and she smiled in her sleep and blinked her eyes open. “I have to go in and deal with my father; otherwise, I would stay at home in bed with you all day.”
“I know.” She said as she smiled at him. “Come home when you can.”
“I will.” He said, and he got up and went to get dressed in one of his suits. He would at least look the part when he got there. He honestly didn’t know how his father was going to be this morning. Not many people told him no. He had not only done that he acted impulsively and married Kathleen. This was going to be an interesting morning meeting.
