"How is my mom doing today?" I asked the doctor, "She is responding well to treatment" He said Alright, I went inside my room, thinking about my link. Ever since I saw her, she has been in my head. I want her so much.
Was still in my thoughts when my right-hand man came in "My king!" he called, "Have you heard anything concerning her?" I asked
"Yes, my king! "Heard she was given away to Marcel the gambler by her family" I was very furious," How dare he touch what is mine?"
"Why?" I snapped!
"I don't know" my king
"Find out why and where they took her! And let me know immediately" I told him.
"Yes!", my king and he left
"Why would her parents do such a thing?" I asked myself
I felt the urge to smash something, and at that moment the feeling was much that I had to smash the golden swan porcelain at the centre of the table in my sitting room. Immediately my phone rang, I picked it up, and my right-hand man's voice came.
"Any news?"I asked, begin optimistic
"Yes!" My king, they took her to the auction house downtown." Okay meet me up at the place" I hung up the call," I am coming for you, my love" I quickly teleported to the auction house, where I met with my right-hand man. teleporting is something the royals and full-blooded vampires are born with. I entered the house and saw her standing with other people, Marcel came and gave his speech in the process declaring my link a virgin.
I was happy that I will be the first person to take her in a family way and at the same time angry that Marcel has to say something like this to the public. People started to bid, I couldn't concentrate because I was busy looking at her and how sexy and beautiful she was. when I felt her staring back at me as well with a smile on her face, I winked at her before turning away" $20000'' I heard someone bid on her head, and I was furious"I will double any amount bid on her I said '' immediately Marcel declared me the owner, I told my right-hand man to pay him but in a hard way, I moved towards where she was standing and stretched out my hand for her to take which she did and we walked to my car.
My driver opened the car door and she entered and sat quietly in fear for what seemed like a long time. My right-hand man and I were outside the car chatting about what happened when he went to pay Marcel and how dealt with him. People passing by could only hear the low muffled mumbling of our voices, she was crossing her arm around her breast while looking out the window
After a few minutes, I slid into the seat next to her. She immediately flinched when she noticed that I was sitting next to her, She was not expecting me to sit beside her.
I leaned forward and patted the back of the driver's seat, and he drove off towards the outskirts of the city.
"Scared?" I noticed the way she was shivering and holding her dress, it took her some time to answer" No I'm just cold" she said. I removed my coat and cover her with it, She turned and was staring at me, I looked at her and our eyes met she quickly lowered her gaze to the floor and mumbled "Thank you"
"As my pet and woman, I'm supposed to look after you," she was shocked after hearing what I said." Your woman?" she questioned."You're my pet and that makes you my woman, I quickly answered I was happy that I got to hear her voice.
I brought out my phone and was going through Forbes News of the year and according to them, I'm among the top 20 richest people in the world.
She was sleeping leaning her head on the window, and suddenly the car stopped and she hit her head on the back of the front seat " Ouch!!!" rubbing her hand on her forehead "Sorry" I said

I waited for my driver to come back to the car after he suddenly stopped the car and went outside to check the cause. "Thomas" I called my driver

"What is going on?"
" I don't know, but I think I saw something standing in the middle of the road," he said
He has this faraway look on his face, "What do you think you saw?

"Hmm," I said… but I don't know why I have this strong feeling that he is not telling me the truth I decided to let go of it since my link is beside me at the moment, not wanting to scare her or do anything in her presence
Watching her snore while sleeping, looking more relaxed like nothing matters makes me want to protect her against all, She stirs and opens her eyes "Are we not there yet?" she said while stretching her hands "No it will take some hours before we reach our destination" I told her with a smile on my face because the way she did her face when I told her that was cute.
I started having a strange feeling when we reached the Northern side of the country which consists mainly of humans and a small group of wolves that left their packs out of mistreatment by their alpha before I knew what was going bone-chilling growls filled the air.

Sophia's pov: I was dancing with Xavier when I felt like someone was staring at me. I looked around and couldn't see anybody. I continued to dance, only for me to meet with a pair of eyes looking at me with so much curiosity. I couldn't see the person very well. I was still in shock because the person staring at me had no pupils, the eyes were just white like a cloud. The person was wearing a black cloak with a touch of gold in it and covered their hair with it. I was distracted from the person when Xavier bends over my ear and whispers to me "I thought you said that you don't know how to dance my lady," my face immediately turned red. I had to look away from him and back to the mysterious person earlier but to my surprise, the person was longer there. I excused myself from Xavier immediately after the dance. I told him that I want to make use of the restroom, he smiled and told me that I should go but shouldn't waste much because he needs me close to his side all the time.
