Sophia's pov: I was dancing with Xavier when I felt like someone was staring at me. I looked around and couldn't see anybody. I continued to dance, only for me to meet with a pair of eyes looking at me with so much curiosity. I couldn't see the person very well. I was still in shock because the person staring at me had no pupils, the eyes were just white like a cloud. The person was wearing a black cloak with a touch of gold in it and covered their hair with it. I was distracted from the person when Xavier bends over my ear and whispers to me "I thought you said that you don't know how to dance my lady," my face immediately turned red. I had to look away from him and back to the mysterious person earlier but to my surprise, the person was longer there. I excused myself from Xavier immediately after the dance. I told him that I want to make use of the restroom, he smiled and told me that I should go but shouldn't waste much because he needs me close to his side all the time.

Xavier's Pov:When I left her in the room, I came to my private chamber for me to stay and calm myself. I was mad at myself because I haven't been doing things that will make her see that she is something more than a slave or pet to me I sat down wondering why she would say such a thing to me when I am only trying to console her over the bad dream she had. Then, I decided to introduce her to elders and important personalities in my clan. My mind is filled with the image of her back in the master's suite. The look on her face while she was sleeping aroused a feeling of weakness in my heart. Nothing else matters now to me except for her happiness which I will give to her no matter the consequences.
