Chapter 55

REGRETS

The two guards, alongside Elijah soon arrived at Elijah's home and began to parade about everywhere. They pushed the closed door and tried to force their way in, but they found out that it had already been locked.

"Shit!" One of the guards yelled and banged his fists on the hard door, writhing in pain afterwards. "I don't think anyone stays here, this man is trying to fool us." He said, pointing at Elijah.

Elijah's face grew with suspense and he began to wonder what was exactly going on and why the guards were suddenly tagging him as a liar. Before he knew what was happening, the other guard ran off towards the door once again and kicked it hard with the sole of his feet.

The door went open instantly and he stormed in at once, ordering the other guard to remain outside with Elijah, while he went in to find out if there was indeed anyone there.
