WHEN DESPERATION SETS IN

Nina hated Elena more now. She had trusted her as a close friend and never thought she would still go ahead to date Garfield even after she had warned her and informed her about her intention to be with Garfield instead.

She wouldn't allow any form of friendship to stop her from doing that which she was supposed to do in order to have her mate back. As far as she was concerned, Elena was no longer worthy to be tagged her friend, and she will make sure she pays for betraying the trust she had for her.

In her quest to achieve her aim against Elena, Nina planned to return back to the witch's coven which she had rejected and refused their membership proposal.

She desperately needed to achieve her aim which was to get back her mate, even if it meant taking Elena out of the way. Desperation had sunk deeply into her that she could no longer think straight; all she could ever think of was how to get Garfield away from Elena's arms and have him all to herself.
