SHE IS MY MATE!

"What mate are you speaking of?" Lina asked her, curiosity etched in her voice.

She could feel the uneasiness within Nina as she spoke.

"Garfield of course!" Nina replied. "He's supposed to be mated to me and not Elena!"

"I don't seem to understand you Nina, Elena has always talked about Garfield after that fateful day she attended the party. We all know Garfield to be Elena's mate, why then do you insist he's your mate instead? Who told you that?" Lina asked her bluntly and from the tone of her voice, she was no longer worried about what Nina would do the next second.

As long as she was telling her nothing but the truth, she would keep hammering it to her ears whether she was willing to listen to her or not.

Nina felt threatened by Lina's voice, and she hissed loudly as she turned to leave.

"And where do you think you are going?" Lina quizzed, dragging her back to position by her clothes. "Get back here at once!"
