My mate

Two months had passed and Bella had been locked up with little or no freedom, she couldn’t move beyond the outskirts of her house and was always inside.

She tried to use it as an opportunity to plot her attack on Alpha Coast but each day she would find out that the plans she made had been destroyed or taken especially if it was written or made by the guards who came for inspection, all the sharp objects or anything she could use to kill herself was also taken and she had no choice than to resort to the stacks of books in her room.

The door opened and Landon walked in with a beautiful white dress and three omega’s were standing behind him with jewelry, make up and shoes.

“The Alpha wants you to get ready for the banquet” He said, 

Bella listened to him and laughed,

“If he wants me to wear this then tell him to come to me” she answered, she had a lot of words she wanted to tell him and things she wished she could do to him, she could only do all that if he was close to her.

She pushed Landon and the omegas out hoping that Coast would come himself just as she had requested.

Little did she know that he was behind her.

“Are you trying my patience?” He asked startling her, she wondered how he got there so fast but then she dismissed the thoughts.

He closed the door behind them and his eyes beared a look of death. 

“Do you think I am going to dress up and pretend to be your Luna, let me just burst your bubble, I am not doing any of that” she challenged him but her stance was quite small compared to the tall man she had to look up to.

“Do you want to die?” He asked walking closer to her as she took steps backward in fear, this was not what she expected, she had thought she would have the courage to harm him once she saw him but he was too scary to even raise a finger on.

Her hands were shaking in fear, she walked backwards until she hit the desk, right on the desk was a flower vase, she slowly picked it up ready to smash it on his head but there was a strong grip on her hand. 

Coast knew exactly what she wanted to do and he immediately stopped it, the vase fell to the ground but his grip was still on her hand, he used his right hand to circle her neck allowing his claws to show, his aim was for her to know that he could kill at that instant and Bella immediately understood it, he had killed her family before so he could kill her also.

“I have been condoning all your useless acts for a long time, don’t test me Bella because you won’t like the outcome. 

Get ready for the banquet and that’s an order” he commanded and then left her for the Omega to doll her up.

Late in the evening, the Red moon pack was filled with guests from various packs, all of which were ranked members and their family. They all came to celebrate the news of Alpha Coast having a Luna.

Coast didn’t bother about welcoming the guest, he left the work to Gamma Lucian who stood by the door greeting every single person that walked in.

“The door by the side which was sealed shut was finally open and a beautiful young girl walked in in a white dress, a neat ponytail with bangs wearing black shoes but there was a frown on her face as she stood there watching everyone.

Bella had not been used to such crowd before so she was a bit shy but that didn’t change the fact that she didn’t want to be there pretending to be someone she wasn’t.

Alpha Coast cast his gaze on her for a second and then looked away, 

“She is beautiful” the Alpha next to him complimented Bella but he was quiet. Bella still hadn’t moved from where she stood and he had no choice than to go to her.

He stood by her side gesturing for her to hold him which she did, she knew fully well that if she didn’t do as he said then it won’t end well for her.

“You have such a lovely Luna” A lady said as she walked closer to them.

“Who said I was his Luna?” Bella fired back unwilling to take those words from anyone,

After saying that she heard a low growl by her side, Coast was angry by what she said.

“What, isn’t that the truth?” she whispered to him and the aura around him instantly became cold, he turned to her, slightly bowed his head and walked out of the banquet hall.

The guest were shocked by his sudden act and wondered why he would leave his own party and his Luna, Bella on the other hand looked stupid with all the gazes on her, she quickly bowed to them and also followed him out.

“Shit” Beta Arthur cursed and picked up the mic to explain what had just happened.

“The Alpha has some emergency to take care of, please enjoy the party” he stated and everyone continued.

Only him and Gamma Lucian knew that Coast was angry and needed to vent it out.

“She must have said something to tick him off” Gamma Lucian said through the mind-link and Beta Arthur agreed with him.

Alpha Coast wasn’t seen through out that night.

The sun rays shone on Bella’s skin as she woke up with a vibrant smile on her face, it was her eighteen birthday and she was excited to meet her wolf, she stepped out of the house and couldn’t find the guards anywhere, she wondered if her words had gotten to Coast somehow or they knew she would turn eighteen and decided to give her some freedom, either way she didn’t care.

With the new found freedom she had, she took a stroll around and into the woods just behind the house, 

“Hi” a Voice said in her head,

“Hello” she answered knowing fully well that it was her wolf.

“My name is Diamond” her wolf said happily, she must seem excited to also meet Bella as Bella was.

Nice to meet you Diamond, I am Bella” she uttered.

It felt good to have a conversation with her, she could feel like they belonged together.

“Are you ready for this?” Diamond asked cutting to the chase, she was eager to show herself to her and what colour she was.

“As ready as I will ever be” Bella replied, she had waited her whole life to meet her other counterpart, she wished her wolf would just be as strong as her giving her a sense of encouragement for this tough times she was currently going through.

The sound of bone cracking filled the air until it was lost by a tiny roar from Diamond, A silvery white wolf stood tall in its enormous size.

“We are big” Bella commented, she had expected her wolf to be a regular size wolf as all pup were when they made their first appearance.

“And unique” Diamond commented not fully giving off the idea that they had powers.

“Wanna sprint around” Bella suggested and Diamond didn’t need to be told twice she ran as fast as her paws could actually take her, she enjoyed the grass underneath her feet, the soft air grazing on her fur and how everything moved in a slow motion.

She ran until she got to the castle where she stumbled and fell just from seeing a man watching her.

His scent was so intoxicating that she couldn’t help but notice he was there.

“Mate” she uttered and Bella couldn’t believe her ears.

“No, he can’t be our mate” she objected not wanting that to be true, she couldn’t be mated to the man who murdered her family.

The man who made her feel sorrow and pain putting her in so much misery, he took away her freedom and kept her as his slave, claiming she was his Luna.

Diamond knew everything that had happened because of Bella’s memories, now she knew that the man she just identified as her mate was the reason why Bella was so sad and lonely, she could feel it within her despite her trying to show much happiness for getting a wolf.

Alpha Coast standing by the balcony saw a silvery white wolf running around and knew it was Bella. He watched her with a keen gaze until she looked up to him.

At that moment he was certain that she knew he was her mate but he was more sure that it wouldn’t change the hatred she had for him. He walked back into the Castle.

Diamond let out a soft whimper in pain, they were both greatly troubled that they couldn’t move or utter a word, finding out the truth was devastating and it took over the few minutes that they were happy earlier while enjoying their peaceful moments.

The cloud seemed to understand how grieved they were and it let its contents pour on her, Diamond sat there in the rain hurt and broken.

“Why did it have to be him” she asked the moon goddess.

What sort of twisted fate did she have to be mated to the man who murdered her family. 

They were shattered to a thousand pieces.
