Hava’s visit

  Hava’s visit to the Red moon pack was the reason Bella could get up from her bed.

  “Bella open up” Hava yelled while banging the door, she was met by the sweet face of Bella pulling her into a warm hug.

  

  “I have missed you Hava” she said with a sad heart, her days in the pack had always been lonely with no one to take to but Diamond. 

  “I missed you too” Hava replied, patting her back. Bella had taken a big sacrifice for her and she was indebted to her for that.

  “Have you eaten breakfast, I will make you some” 

  The company of Hava was a good start of the afternoon for her after she had lazily slept on the bed throughout the morning.

  She craved to do the things she had always done for her family with much joy in her heart.

  

  She made a pancake and a smoothie,

  “Take a bite” she sat on the chair close to her waiting for a compliment on the food.

  Hava took a big bite and smiled,

  “I have always missed your cooking” she answered giving her a thumbs up, 

  

  “I know right” Bella laughed at her perfect cooking ability, her mom took the time and energy to train her well just so she could cook for her mate and family but it turns out she would never do that for her mate.

  “How is uncle and Aunty?” she said hoping they were doing fine, she had always wanted to visit them to know how they were fairing but couldn’t because of the cage she was locked in.

  

  “They are fine, they sent their regards to you” Hava answered.

  She held Bella hands with soaked eyes,

  “Bella, I have not really gotten the chance to thank you for saving my life, you sacrificed yours for mine and I am very grateful to you” she stated with a heavy heart, it would have been her in Bella’s place but she was glad she accepted to take her place.

  

  “It’s okay, you would have done the same for me if I were in your situation” Bella answered with an open heart, she loved her family so much and would do anything to protect them or keep them safe, Hava was just like a sister to her and it was her duty to sacrifice for her just as she was taught by her father, ‘Be the better person’.

  

  “How is life here?” Hava looked around the house, it was quite fancy but what she noticed was that only Bella’s things were there and there was no sign of the Alpha in the house.

  “Boring, I have nothing to do here than to just sleep and the Alpha doesn’t really care about what I do” she answered, she wouldn’t tell Hava about the circumstances she was in, how Alpha Coast turned out to be her mate and also about the fact that he killed her family.

  

  “Bella, you practically live like a Queen here, this house is unique, he gives you your own space and I saw a lot of guards around the house protecting you. You are no ordinary bride Bella it seems you are special to the Alpha that he would give you such treatment, any girl will kill just to have this kind of life” Hava accessed all she had seen in her head and practically misunderstood what Bella was going through, she believed her life at the Red moon pack was perfect without flaws.

  

  “You think” Bella let out a weird laugh, atleast she could give a good news to her uncle that she was doing well in her new home.

  “Yeah”

  

  Bella thought about something “Uhmm, When Uncle got the threats from Alpha Coast demanding for a bride did he know who he was” Bella asked, she needed to be sure that it was just a coincidence that her uncle sold her to Coast.

  “What do you mean” Hava asked confused,

  

  “Well I mean, did Uncle know that Alpha Coast was the one who attacked our pack and still wanted to give you to him as a bride” She rephrased her question to Hava’s better understanding.

  “I think so, because he was so scared when he got it. But he still feel sorry for sending you here and everyday he worries about you” Hava answered stating the current predicament of her father, he was the one who has sent her there to check up on Bella.

  

  It then dawned on Bella that she was the one who walked herself into this predicament, She had agreed to marry Alpha Coast without finding out about him, she had no one to blame but herself, she should have just rejected the offer in the first place and spared herself the misery she was now going through.

  “What wrong?” Hava noticed the worried expression on her face and couldn’t help but ask.

  “Nothing, I am okay” she faked a smile of which Hava smiled back.

  “You can tell him not to worry that I am doing okay here, just like you said I have my own space and everything. I don’t lack anything here” Bella lied swiftly, it was better to get the burden off her Uncle’s chest and avoid him from worrying over guilt.

  

  “I know right, you are living in heaven” Hava exclaimed.

  “Enough talking about me, what about you?” She asked.

  

  “Nothing much, just waiting to meet my mate so he can shower me with love and care, I just hope he is an Alpha just like yours then I can be living like you” Hava expressed her happiness for the type of life she thought Bella was living.

  “Mate!” Bella repeated absent minded, her mate was a curse to her and she would never be happy because of him.

  

  “Earth to Bella, I have been saying a lot of things for a while now” Hava brought her back from her reverie.

  “I’m sorry, what were you saying?” Bella inquired after being lost in her thoughts.

  

  “Don’t bother, I didn’t say anything important” 

  They chatted until it was evening then Hava decided to go back home despite Bella’s begging for her to spend a night with her.

  Bella walked Hava out until they got to the front of the Castle where Alpha Coast was standing by the balcony watching her.

  

  “Is that him?” Hava asked surprised by the handsome man Bella was contracted to, he looked so divine that she couldn’t look away. She was now beginning to regret why she had regretted the offer in the first place, if she had known that she would be mated to such a fine man then she would have accepted gladly but now that title had fallen to her cousin Bella, she could see their gazes fixed together and she could swear there was a hint of emotion behind that cold face for Bella.

  

  Bella stood there dumbstruck as she looked at Coast, immediately she saw him her mind flashed back to the fight she had with him two days ago.

  {Flashback}

  

  

  “Not until I say this” she turned him back to face her,

  “I Bella Isaiah reject you as..” Alpha Coast had already crashed his lips on hers, the fear of getting rejected by his mate pushed him into doing that, he gave her a deep kiss and Bella reciprocated, his hands held her waist firmly and she wrapped her hands also around his neck covering the space between them, Coast wondered if it was the mate bond that urged her to do so or she had some feelings hidden deep for him.

  

  Once he left her she was breathing heavily,

  “You can never reject me Bella because I would not accept it. You were made for me and I would never let you go” He said boldly making it known to her that she was completely his and would never escape him.

  He had had a long fight with himself and also with his wolf and came of the acceptance that he wanted no one else beside him but her.

  

  Bella felt stupid after what she had just done, she was so ashamed of herself for kissing him back, she wanted to blame the matebond but deep down it was her, she was the one show actually kissed him. He had ways of making her react to him even without making much effort. She ran out of his room embarrassed•••

  

  “Bella, aren’t you coming” Hava woke her up from her thoughts and she turned to her, she followed her closely until a guard came to them escorting Hava out because she had reached the limit of her freedom.
