Maverick's POV

The stress was more than overwhelming. I never thought of the workload of a King being as hectic and time consuming as this. There had the be so much in my head to handle at the same time, and the feeling of always being under pressure was something that weakened my mortal body.

I wouldn't be baffled if I was told that I was no longer approachable by my subjects. I would'nt have that much time to explain to others the things I saw and the things I thought of every single day I had to open my eyes the a new day.

But the meetings were excess, and whenever I had the stare at the faces of the people who sat around me, I could see the handwriting of fatigue well and boldly written on their faces, and sometimes, sleep and dizziness taking control over their bodies.

My tables were always filled, most times unable to differentiate one paper from the other, always having to scribble through the ones which sat on the table just before I could get the perfect one for that situatio
