CHAPTER 12: SNOW'S TEARS

"I was talking to you. Shut it" Logan yelled, his tone dripping with anger and annoyance, his action shocked everyone including Tiffany.

Her head on the ground and she entwined her fingers together "but she cheated" she mumbled once more and Logan frowned.

He had seen the fight and Snow win fairly, he never knew she had such strength, or was she concealing her strength for a reason but why?

Also the way Ace stood up for her, seemed to pick a nerve making him flare. His gaze trailed to Snow, her eyes gazing at him shocked and amusement seen in her eyes and for a second he saw admiration.

Why would someone he bullied admire him? Surely he must be mistaken, but vividly saw the trace of tears in her eyes.

Every pack where known with their each significant colour, there's is a speck of blue in their eyes which distinct them from other packs.

He gaze on everyone and he mind linked everyone to leave, except Snow. The retreating footsteps of everyone, the arena fuelled by dust and sand as they all left.

His gaze on Snow, he approached her gently and she stepped backwards fright seen in her movement.

"I won fairly, I didn't cheat" she added, her voice soft and low, slightly inaudible, but his sharp hearing enabled him to hear her mumbled words.

"Are you okay?" he tried to voice but no words were able to escape his lip, the bursting wind enveloping the area and Snow hair flying in the wind. It made her look angelic and innocent.

The thought of wanting to see her smile slowly creeping into his heart and he frowned, he glared at her and raised his voice "how can I believe you didn't cheat, when you are not one of us" his tone rude and heart wrenching.

It was like a slap in her face, it was the first time she ever got attention or felt worthy of being in a pack, but he and Tiffany always found a way to ruin it.

"Don't get the wrong idea, I only yelled at Tiffany cause I wanted to and not for you" he reminded, his words were bitter and Snow heaved a sigh.

"I really don't care," she muttered, but audible enough for him to hear. The mocking words of Tiffany flashing in her eyes and a tear slipped to the ground.

"Why do you hate me? Does my existence alone disgust you? I'm I not worthy of love or happiness because am not from your pack?" Her endless questions only making Logan fell remorse of his words, but he shoved them away.

She was just an omega, someone he should dispose of to the very end, but every little time. He felt bad when he did something wrong to her.

Alpha's don't show weakness, there was no way he would show the same, but hearing her words his heart was in turmoil.

"Leave" he said, he didn't want to accept her words, the more she stayed by his side, the more he might actually sympathize with her and he didn't want to.

Okay" she muttered and Ace walked into the arena, his footsteps grazing the silence floor and Logan's smile fell.

"Alpha" he respectfully said and held Snow hand, his hand entwined with hers, she didn't seem repulsive or withdrawn like how she was with him

He could see the tension in her, she was scared of him, very, he should be happy but his thoughts were in turmoil.

When Tiffany had mocked her, he felt this urge of anger and malice towards her, he wanted to shut her mouth and when he heard the sniff sound from Snow, he flared up.

His emotions were really taking a toll on him, but why her, why Snow. He never felt such a surge of connection with anyone before.

And seeing her so close and cool with another guy especially Ace was annoying and made him angry every single time.

He watched them walk away Ace slowly patting her hair, and Snow slow footsteps, she held his palm tighter and Logan frowned, his eyes darkening, but his wolf seems to be enjoying his torture.

*They would make a cute couple* his wolf Lycan praised and Logan hissed in anger.

"Shut your maw now!" He barked, but his wolf just laughed, the sound echoing within his chest and he gritted his teeth in anger.

Ace holding Snow shoulder tightly, he noticed her walking step was slow and sluggish and then she stopped.

"Do you think my biological parents actually hated me? And abandoned me all alone to suffer elsewhere" She asked, her tone dripping with sadness and anger.

"Don't think of what Tiffany said, she's rude and makes things up to hurt others" he said and tried to hold Snow's hand but she moved backwards.

"Are you avoiding the question?" She asked and Ace froze, he actually was, he didn't want to hurt her with his reply.

"Snow, it's in the past besides they may have their reasons for leaving you behind " he further answered and Snow's eyes turned wet.

"Because they didn't want me" she mumbled and Ace froze, her words hurt him, he wanted her to know she was loved, not hated.

"I didn't mean that" He justified but Snow tears fell harder, the rumbling of thunder. The clouds darkened and became violent.

Ace gaze diverted to the sky, he was wondering why the weather was changing, when the pack never experienced such before.

"Th...they hate me" Snow muttered and Ace gazed at her. The droplet of rain falling at that moment.

At first they were light and soft, but as her tears increased they turned violent and heavy, he realized at that extent, her powers were acting off, and if she didn't control herself anytime sooner, she could destroy everything.

"Snow stop" he yelled, but his words never reached her, the words of Tiffany echoing in her heart and her tears harder, the sky darkened and downpour pain

"Stay away from me" she yelled.

Everyone gazed at the cloud, the brightest sky, now darkened like a raging fire, the wind swaying all round, the wind carrying dust flying around their faces.

The whooshing sounds of wind, the sand mixing with it and everyone covering their nose.

This has never happened, the weather has never changed not even once, without a warning and the downpour of rain, filled with hardened ice in it,

Everyone ran and rushed to their respective homes, with their kids.

"Everyone inside, it's raining ice"
