CHAPTER 14: REALITY AND IMOGEN'S TATTOO

"When is she ever gonna tell us of her powers?"

But surely she was still in the void, not the real world.

Everything went black and the void disappeared;

Snow eyes popped open, her whitish eyes vanished that instant.

“Are you okay?” Ava asked and Snow blinked her doe eyes. She remembered clearly crying and the weather suddenly changed.

"Is..is everyone okay?" She asked, her head pounding in pain, she squinted her eyes and forced a smile, for some reason everything felt similar and the feeling of deja Vu in her heart.

"I'm okay" she urged and Ava heaved a sigh, Ava pulled her closer for a hug, she was scared for a second.

She had been in the training ground, training new wolves on basic attack skills when suddenly the void changed and she froze. She had always thought of something terrible happening, but she never expected it so soon.

She had a mind linked with Flinch, they met up and tried to track down Snow, luckily she was home and the front door opened.

"Baby, do you remember how you got here?" Ava asked and Snow furrowed her brow, trying to think, her head was foggy, she seemed to have forgotten a lot of things including seeing them in her zone.

"I can't remember a thing" Snow muttered, her eyes sincerely gazed at them and Ava chuckled nervously.

"It..it's okay? Um let me cook something for you, you seem tired" Ava said with a smile and walked to the kitchen, Flinch gazed at Snow and averted his gaze to Ava following her into the kitchen.

Snow heaved a sigh, for some reason she couldn't remember anything, it felt like this scene had happened before. It felt like someone logged out her memory, or was keeping her from remembering a thing.

Her thought side tracked back to reality when the doorbell rang.

Her nostrils perceived a scent and Snow smiled, Asher had arrived, she stood up from the couch and walked to the door, she opened it gently and Asher's handsome face revealed.

"Are you o..." Snow words cut short as Asher hugged her tightly, his left hands in her shoulders and his right on her hair.

"I was so worried, sorry big brother arrived late" he muttered and Snow giggled.

"You are here now, that's what matters the most" she replied and hugged him back, she could percent his holly olive scent but this time with a mixture of wood.

"Where have you been?" She asked and Asher withdrew from the hug.

"Training ground, I had to fill in for mum and dad" He added and Snow smiled.

"Of course you are the best, you have too" she replied and Asher smiled.

"I'm not, Logan is still the best" he said, emphasizing in Logan, which made Snow frown.

She knew Asher disliked Logan a lot, especially since he was her only family who knew Logan bullies her alot.

Actually Asher could be on par with Logan in terms of skills but Logan blows are more fatal and heavier, he isn't the Alpha's son for no reason..

"Don't ever get into a fight with Logan, promise me" she said and Asher paused on his action, he knew that was the hardest thing he couldn't help but do.

He just hated his gut, even though he was good at the Alpha job m, he was a bully and that was the biggest no for him.

"Promise me" Snow added and Asher grunt disapproval.

"Whatever" he said and walked into the House which made Snow sad, her brother was really really stubborn.

She was about to close the door but she sensed someone, she could sight the blue eyes of a wolf.

"Who's there?" She asked but no one responded.

"Come out" she yelled, the atmosphere turned dark and deadly, she held the grunt of a wolf, her claws elongated itself, her defense mode activated, but then Imogen emerged from the shoulder.

"You looked so serious, I'm scared" she said and walked up to Snow, Snow claws withdrew back .

You could easily destroy Tiffany, and at least leave a scratch on Logan's body, who knows" she added and Snow chuckled.

"You want me to die at fifteen?" She asked and Imogen laughed.

"No, I heard you beat the pulp out of Tiffany, that was great, s big step" She praised and Snow laughed in fright, she knew next time she goes to school, Logan would chop her head off

"Who's that?" Asher asked, stepping out but paused on his track.

*Mate* his wolf yelled, and his eyes widened, his lip glued together unable to understand what the hell was happening.

"Hi, I'm Imogen, Snow's new friend," Imogen said, stretching her hands for a shake, but Asher didn't move a muscle.

His eyes shivered in shock, didn't she sense the bond, or is she not if she senses he's her mate?"

"How old are you? " He asked suddenly and Imogen froze, she averted her gaze to Snow in confusion.

"Why do you want to know that?" She rudely said and withdrew her hand.

"Since you are not going to welcome me on, I will welcome myself" Imogen said and walked to the door, her scent lingered into his nostrils and his hand held her wrist.

"She's seventeen" Snow added, and Asher gazed at Imogen, he had thought she was intentionally ignoring his scent, but she wasn't eighteen yet to sense her mate.

*Mate can't recognize us* his wolf sadly said and he gently let go of her hand, but actually Snow sighted a tattoo.

Imogen gazed at him with uncertainty, why the hell did he grab her hands in such a way. She frowned and tucked down her sleeve.

*Mate scent different in a good way* his wolf praised and Asher grunt in anger, which seemed to frightened both girls.

Snow has never seen her brother in such a state, he was usually calm and aloof, but to me he seemed pissed and depressed, although he was twenty years old, he was pretty fun to be with.

Asher has felt the mate bond when he held her hands and he knew she felt something too, her eyes had shivered slightly oh his touch and she froze, but he knew she was in denial, she would have to be eighteen to know he's the one.

Snow eyes drifted to Imogen'wrists and she walked towards her.

She was fast and Imogen didn't guess her next move, Snow held her wrist and tucked up her sleeve.

"Since when did you get this tattoo?"
