Hannah was discharged and Reid was there to take her home. But she already had plans with Marcia. She then thinks of her cats. She knew that Reid wouldn’t let them starve. She couldn’t even look at him. She doesn't want to look at him. Her heart was in pain for the past three days while staying in the hospital.

Gordon picked them up in his SUV. She sat in the back seat and they headed to their home. She’s a third wheel but she needs to suck it up staying with her best friend and her mate for a while until she’s cured. Upon reaching their home, Marcia escorted her to her bedroom.

“Gordon cooked a lot of food. Most are your favorites. I’ll have it delivered here.”

“There’s no need.” Hannah smiled. “Thank you, Mars.”

“What do you mean?” Marcia frowned. “You need to eat.”

She nodded.

“I’ll eat later. I want to sleep.”
