She refused to eat… or drink. She refuses to drink medicine. All they could do was inject supplements, including the medicine. Her lips were dry as Marcia sat beside her and pointed to the straw. She pushed it away but Marcia continued to piss her off and even forced her to drink.

“What’s the point of this hunger strike, Hannah? Your parents are miserable.” She said, “You are miserable.”

“I want to rest… I’m just tired.”

“I know. Drink.” She insisted as Hannah sipped a little. “More.”

She sipped more and shortly, Marcia got up. For the past five days, her mom, Marcia, and Ines would take care of her. Sponge bathes her and talks to her nonstop. But she still felt… empty… she felt lifeless. The fact that she didn’t know that she was pregnant. She fought, and she was punched… if she had known, she wouldn’t fight.

She stared at the window where there were no trees… just skyscrapers.

She felt ashamed and embarrassed until now. Her parents probably know what happened to her. She
