6. I love you

"All this time, I thought it was a car accident, " Danielle said while she was crying.

"Yeah, me too, " I hugged her, for the first time in five years I hugged my sister again.

"we'll make them pay, right?" Danielle asked and looked at me like she used before, the look of believing in me as a big sister and I nodded and hugged her again.

I waited until Danielle calmed down and slept, I went to the balcony and dialed ...after the fourth ring he answered and I said " can we meet?"

I went out and headed to the park and waited, 10 minutes later Alexander showed up and sat beside me.

"you were right," I said and fought back the tears that threaten to fall.

"About?" Alexander asked.

"He killed my brother, Alex, he killed my big brother, Jake killed him," I said and cried.

Alexander looked at me and anger and saddens were obvious in his

eyes and I got up and started pacing around.

"It hurts, it hurts, it hurt so bad I can't breathe, I can't think, I can't do anything,"

I faced Alexander and said.

Alexander took my hands and brought me to his chest and hugged me, and I couldn't do anything but cry in his arms.

"I'm so sorry, Alex, I'm so sorry, please forgive me." I said and looked at him and saw his glassy eyes because he was crying as well.

"I'd couldn't even be mad at you, so you don't need my forgiveness, " he took my face in his hands and said.

"how? how could you not be mad at me?" I asked.

"because I'm crazy... I'm crazy in your love, " Alexander said.

"not as much as me, because I love you so bad, that it even hurts, " I said and Alexander closed the gap between us and he asked, "will you leave me again?"

"Never," I answered and my voice was barely a whisper, And he kissed me... Alexander kissed me and I kissed him back then is started raining around us.

I went back to Danielle's apartment at 2 am and my family was already there, my father... he was holding his gun, My mother... she was too hurt, Dominic was pacing around with anger, Danielle was calmer than before, I headed inside and sat beside my father.

"tell me everything," Dad said and I told him about what happened with Jake, and Dominic asked, "you shot him?"

"Yeah, I... I went crazy after what I heard." I explained.

"We can't beat him on our own, " my mom said.

"We are not on our own," I said and all the eyes turned to me.

1 hour ago .

"so that's all you heard?" Alexander asked and I looked at him and answered "yeah, "

"I'm going to kill him, today he survived me, but the next time he won't," I said and Alexander took my hand in his and said, " he won't survive us."

"you don't have to do this Alexander, this my fight," I said.

"I want to do this, I want to help, " he said.

"your family doesn't have to, I did enough damage... Alex, " I argued.

"I already texted my father and he agreed to help," Alexander said and put on a victorious smile.

"why? " I asked.

"because you're my happiness and my father cares about my happiness so he will do anything so that I would be happy, " he said.

Present time

"that's good, having the Knight family on our side is good, but something should be done, " my dad said.

"Natalie, you're entering the game again,

"my dad said and he meant that I'm going to appear on the weekly meeting of the mob bosses.

"yes sir," I said.

Dad turned to Dominic and said, "son, you will be watching over this assistant Ella, let's see where her loyalty stands."

"Danielle, we need Roman back, you call him. " dad said.

"Roman as in Roman Xavier, dad are you crazy he is Jake's driver and best friend. " I said and dad smirked.

"is he?" dad asked humorously and an I got it, I said "he is your man isn't he, "

"Exactly," Dad said.

1 week later

it's the meeting day and Jake will be there and I have to look so confident, I wore a Black dress and high heels and went out of the apartment and there he was... Alexander was standing in front of his Ferrari, he was wearing a suit and I couldn't really keep my eyes off him.

he looked at me and froze as soon as he did, he looked me up and down and smiled then he approached me and held out his hand and asked "ready?"

I took his hand and said, " I was born ready."

"let's go," Alexander said.

we entered the car and Alexander drove us there when we got out of the car and headed inside, everyone stared at us and gasped, and honestly, I didn't know if it was because of how good we look or because I'm alive but it's probably option 2.

I looked around and saw him, Jake... he was standing with his family, and they all stared daggers at me, I searched for mine and Alexander's family when we saw them, we headed there, Ella and Roman were there as well.

"may I have your attention, please," Dad said.

"I would like to announce to you some good news and that is my daughter, the mob Princess is still alive as you can see, so please don't treat her as a stranger, and thank you, " Dad said.

I looked at Alexander with a smile and winked at him.

he smiled and winked back, then I took a drink with my family, 15 minutes later I went to the restroom to check my make up, after I was done I washed my hands and then Jake entered and I stared his reflection in the mirror.
