At that moment, Kevin's phone rang once again.

He picked up the call, clearly in a daze. "Hello?"

A shrill female voice drifted from the other end of the line. "Kev, save me! Someone kidnapped me! The kidnapper wants you to come over right now! Hurry up and save me! There's a bomb strapped to me right now!"

This was Violet's voice.

Kevin was stunned at first, but he soon exited the forensic laboratory immediately. "I need a few men to save a hostage with me! Daniel has made his appearance!"

When Violet heard Kevin's order, she quickly shot it down. "No! No way! Kev, you gotta come on your own! The kidnapper said that he'll detonate my bomb immediately if you bring someone with you! I'm scared!"
