Chapter 5

William and Kevin rushed over to Daniel's address after obtaining it. The address was located in a suburban area that was located in the city.

When I saw the place, I began trembling subconsciously out of fright.

After Daniel kidnapped me, this was the first place he had brought me to. I got severely tortured here.

Daniel tried to make me spit out Kevin's location, but I refused to budge no matter what. In the end, he strapped the bomb to me and took me to an abandoned warehouse located in the suburbs.

William stopped in front of a house. He kicked the door open after making sure that no one was in there.

I entered the house as well. Daniel had already discarded the evidence of my torture, so no one could tell what had happened here.

William did a lap around the house. It was then I saw a button stuck in the corner of a cabinet. That button came from my shirt.

If Kevin could spot the button, the police would be able to confirm Daniel's identity as the murderer.
