A rough, hard surface lightly pressed against my back, ultimately realizing I was pressed against a tree, our sweet kiss deepening until it became more fierce and passionate, something changing inside the both of us, to the point where it turned more demanding, almost aggressive.

My lips escaped a small, needy sound the moment I felt his hands squeezing a little firmer, that same hardness pressing against my slowly pulsating center, his black irises clouding with something so primal and heavy.

Dipping a little lower to trail hot kisses over the entire length of my neck, my hand found its way once again through his soft, silky hair, unconsciously trying to pull him even closer, though it was physically impossible.

Small jolts of electricity travelled throughout my entire being, like a magic spell binding me even tighter to him, to the point where it almost consumed me, desperately trying to merge with his being in every possible way.

So without wasting another precious moment, I lowere

Feeling the soft commotion briefly disturbing my peaceful limbo, I slowly fluttered my eyelids open, noticing we were already back in the same penthouse we’ve been sharing from a while now.Carefully placing me down, he then gingerly slid his palm at the back of my neck, those two obsidian gems switching to dark brown for the briefest moment once again as they so intensely stared right back into mine, my lips slightly parting in utter amazement, simply gazing up at him, speechless.“Wh...Why is this happening?” I lightly stuttered, struggling to search for the right words, unconsciously raising my palm to touch his cheek, feeling the light stubble gently tickling my skin. Those plump lips timidly formed a dimpled smile, the whole universe seeming to reflect once again in those black voids as those simple, yet so confusing words came out,“It’s you. You are the reason. You are making it happen.”“Wha...”I simply stared up at him, too lost to even try to form a coherent sentence, watch

I disgustedly stared at the body parts lying around in the crimson sea on my once white oak floor, still breathing fast and hard, almost entirely bathed in god blood.Fucking bastards. They surely must’ve reincarnated in Olympus already and ran to Zeus to bitch about me by now.Good.After that stunt they pulled on us, they surely deserved everything that was coming their way.Fooling me like that, just so they could take her away from me...My gaze trailed back to that same spot I lastly saw her, the sound of her frightened call upon my name still ringing in my ears over and over again, making me feel so fucking guilty for not ensuring her safety before anything else.Fucking moron!I angrily drove my fist into the nearest wall, causing a light vibration travelling throughout the entire building, soon leaving a trail of shattered objects and entirely destroyed furniture in my wake as that pure rage kept pulsating inside me like a wildly beating heart until nothing was left to shatter

The blinding light forced my eyelids flutter closed for a few short moments as we stepped outside the stone walls, tiredly pressing my forehead against the gladiator’s armor-clad chest as he carefully carried me cradled in his bulky arms.Oh yay...Respect for the god blood...even though I was being carried towards my impending execution...Numbly raising my sight to look up at him, I noticed how his stoic gaze remained trained ahead throughout the entire walk, intently holding his breath, a small bead of sweat already making its way down the side of his face.Gods...it is already affecting him too...I quickly lowered my head back down, nervously biting my lip, already feeling even more scared than ever, rendering completely still in his arms as I now felt so afraid that this current situation could turn into something far more worse than my sole demise. So when he finally lowered me on the heated sand of the arena, we both exhaled almost in unison, relieved to finally be able to get

Loud gasps followed, the buzzing murmur of whispers quickly filling the very tensed air, harshly silenced just as quick as they started by that same thundering, unmistakable voice,“Silence!”“Selene, what is the meaning of this?” Zeus then asked, my gaze though remaining trained on the abnormally large wolf-like creature still standing right in front of me, everything else seemingly forgotten as I simply stood there, watching how it kept menacingly snarling at the god of Underworld, fully intent on protecting me from anything and anyone.“Rem...” I shakily whispered, taking a step closer, small tears prickling at the corners of my eyes as even though I still couldn’t understand exactly what happened and why did he turn into this beautiful creature, his actions touched me so deeply.“My son, please...stop this,” Our mother’s gentle, pleading tone reached my ears, watching how the large wolf simply ignored her, its attention solely focused on the obvious threat.“Yes, mutt, how about y

My bare feet touched the hard concrete path as we finally descended onto the ground, my gaze landing on the large, modern mansion now standing tall and imposing right in front of our eyes.Taking a glance around, I observed the vast space, entirely covered with freshly trimmed grass and the tall stone walls at each side serving as a fence.“Father, where are we?”“Somewhere close to my undying heart,” He warmly answered, keeping his gaze trained on the giant house right ahead of us as he still gently held me in his arms.Failing to understand those words I turned my attention back to him, but just as I was about to ask he gingerly grabbed my forearm, coaxing me to start walking.“Come on.”Suddenly noticing Rem’s beast form approaching to walk right next to me I reached to caress the side of his muzzle with the tip of my fingers, right before I heard my father say,“I’d advise you to take human form again, if you don’t want to get shot.”His wolf form stared upon me for a sole moment,

Turning her attention towards my father, she took a few calming breaths, tempering herself a little bit as she asked,“How did you find him?”I watched my father let out a loud, tired exhale, right before he answered,“Long story...”Noticing how her reddened eyes finally landed on me, I watched how she wiped the lingering wetness off her cheeks, swallowing a sob as she then calmly asked,“Who’s this?”“Blake, I want you to meet my daughter, Daya.Daya, this is Blake, Archangel Michael’s first and only child.”“Well hi there, cuz,” She casually said, seemingly almost amused as she boldly approached, giving me a warm smile.“Welcome to the club,” She then quickly said and before I could even realize what was happening she had already lunged at me, crushing me in a warm hug.I blinked a few times, failing to react as this form of approach seemed so foreign to me for I have never been hugged by another before -besides Raphael and my brother but only the times when we were children, of co

It wasn’t real...It’s never been real...All those moments we shared, everytime we touched...It was nothing but the Sin’s doing...Nothing but a big, cruel lie...Small tears kept making their way down the sides of my cheeks, mixing with the warm rivulets as I stood completely still under the shower spray, letting all that dried blood and dirt wash away, reminiscing every touch and every kiss...every intimate moment...Now being washed away by the warm water and the cold, bitter thought persisting in my mind, continuously reminding myself that all this time, it’s been nothing but the Sin’s doing. The Sin’s magical, utterly cruel spell. What kind of monster resides within me?What kind of cruel, sadistic monster resides within me?But most of all, why does it even live within me?How?How did it even end up in there? My lightly trembling palm slowly rose, hesitantly placing it right over the middle of my chest as all those questions kept raising inside my mind, feeling that powerful, un

“Azrael! Lower you dagger, NOW!”My father’s booming voice suddenly echoed across the very large hallway, forcing a small flinch escape my body, my eyelids quickly fluttering open just in time to notice the small battle raging in Azrael’s midnight orbs as he intensely gazed upon me, frozen.Quickly snapping my frightened gaze to his right I then noticed the confused and equally shocked looks I was receiving, the walls suddenly seeming to close in on me, threatening to crush me in between, panic starting to flood my entire being. They see you...They now see you as you truly are...Monster...Monster!Various voices kept whispering in my head, my vision quickly turning blurry as tears started to uncontrollably stream down my cheeks, all those horrible deaths at the unmerciful hands of the monster living inside of me once again flashing before my eyes. You’ll be safe. I promise,” He gently beckoned, feeling my

“So umm, do I have to draw that symbol thingy with my blood like Ricky does every time he summons Luc?” I asked uneasily, mimicking a small grimace as the thought of actually cutting myself and practically forcing Azrael to come back after everything that transpired in these last few hours seemed so...unappealing.After all, he strongly expressed his desire to get away from me as quick as possible only moments ago...I bitterly reminisced, watching Raph roll his eyes in annoyance before quickly responding in “duh” tone,“You guys have a bond, remember? So how about you just use that instead?”“Oh that...” I weakly mumbled, my eyes reluctantly lowering to the fiercely glowing symbol on the inside of my wrist.“Yeah that,” Raph’s retort reached my ears as my gaze still remained trained on the visible proof of the said bond, uncertainty flickering deep within me.Is it still there though? And if it is, is it still strong enough to call him right back to me?I wondered, my gaze trailing a

I slammed my fists a few times against the marble flooring, feeling like my heart was being literally ripped in half as I stared at the now completely empty space, hopelessly broken.Again.“Why?” I shakily asked between hiccups as I rose my sight to the ceiling, stupidly hoping for some sort of “divine” answer. But before I could even take a second breath a small sob reached my ears, momentarily disrupting my mourning.Lightly frowning in confusion, I sat up straighter, then mindlessly wiped my cheeks before straining my hearing to focus better on the sound, soon enough hearing it again, only this time a little clearer. What the...As quick as I could, I rose myself to my feet, glancing at the small dents in the white marble at my feet before walking away, everything else momentarily forgotten as I headed straight towards the source. And not soon enough, I found myself exiting the house through the glass door at the back and walking all the way to that secluded spot between the trees

Blake I could feel my body floating, drowned in a dark blue and starry abyss like the night sky as an oddly comforting warmth enveloped me completely.Strong, even thuds resonated in my ears like a white noise, their tempo so familiar as it was the only sound I could hear, my mind drifting through that same state of numbness for what felt like an eternity, surprisingly enough with no attempt to even try and escape...And that because it felt so good...Too euphoric and relaxing to even bother wondering how or why did I get here, any previous memories completely forgotten, deeply buried somewhere at the very bottom of my mind, preventing from any disturbance or unwanted distraction whatsoever. So I let myself fall even deeper and deeper, pointlessly swaying away like a falling leaf in the breezy wind, comforted by that same, constant sound.Until it suddenly changed its pace, turning considerably slower, for some reason the abrupt change creating a very peculiar and restless feeling d

Taking a small, timid step closer I peered at the visibly pale, seemingly fallen into a deep slumber girl as her half-bare body rested in Death’s gentle embrace, skin on skin, safely covered by a white-fleeced blanket. So small and fragile she seemed, cradled in between his muscled arms like a child in its parent’s protective embrace as her head rested against his shoulder, her slender palm resting against the middle of his bare chest, gingerly supported by his hand around her wrist.A tiny, faint glow slowly pulsed from beneath, no doubt coming from that particular symbol deeply engraved in her skin, oddly enough pulsing at the same pace with Death’s faintly glowing as well midnight orbs as he sat in her bed with his back resting against the bed frame, unmoving.“What happened? Why is she like this?” I found myself quietly asking, careful as to not disturb their very peculiar yet peaceful moment as we had already intruded their privacy the moment we stepped inside her room, unannounc

DayaPain...The only ever-persisting, all-too-familiar and nagging feeling once again made its presence known inside of me, this time taking the form of a dull headache, rather rudely waking me up from that dreamless and peaceful slumber.Gradually regaining awareness of my own body, my fingers lightly twitched before my eyes slowly opened, greeted by the simple whiteness of a ceiling.Slowly turning my head to the side I then hazily took in my surroundings, and with a slightly blurred sight I could notice the burgundy-colored wallpaper and dark furniture, completely failing to recognize anything at all.And since my mind continuously refused to give me a single hint of what transpired before finding myself in this unfamiliar room, I wobbly rose myself into a sitting position, not failing to also notice the stinging sensation prickling my skin, right in the middle of my chest. With a frown followed by a slight hiss, my fingers gently traced over the area, lowering my sight to take a

I only blinked a few times, staring at his brooding figure, moments before he swiftly circled around me, immediately feeling the burning heat of his body barely touching my back as my attention was now trained on the fallen before me, letting me know that he had moved right behind me.And as I mindlessly watched Raph carelessly discard his jacket and slowly kneel right in front of me, I could feel Azrael’s hands gently grip my wrists, another shiver crawling up my spine as I could feel his breath tickling the shell of my ear, that tingling vibration lightly touching my back as he almost inaudibly said,“Just so you know, I was never going to take her life. I am not a monster, you know...”“I n-never said that,” I quickly stammered, feeling my heart already pounding inside my chest.“Then why do you keep staring at me like I’m your worst nightmare?”My breath faltered, completely lost for words, small tears already making their way down my cheeks as he quietly proceeded to carefully dr

Holy fuck...Widely staring into each other’s eyes the time seemed to momentarily freeze, too lost for words or maybe too stunned by his so unexpected reaction to even try and wrack my brain for a coherent sentence.Holy shit...He’s losing it.Still trying to recover from that temporarily frozen state my gaze finally averted from his, darting to his tightly clenched fist instead, watching how the few remaining drops of alcohol dripped to the shard-littered floor, as expected with no trace of that crimson liquid whatsoever.Raising my sight to peer into those bottomless voids once again, I only noticed how with each desperate scream echoing in the background, that violent struggle glinting in his black irises slowly morphed, little by little but surely enough losing the battle with himself, until it turned into nothing but pure pain and despair. And before I even had the time to realize what was happening, like a furious storm he suddenly made his way straight towards the double doors,
