Chapter Eighteen

Isabelle's point of view

I woke up with so much pain and headache, I strained my eyes and winced.

"You should not get up yet, you are finally awake." The doctor smiled and I rested properly on the bed and suddenly remembered how I passed out.

"Doctor, how is my baby?" That was what I could think of first before anything else. I need to keep this child, I won't get deceived for the second time.

"Your baby is fine and healthy, and there are no complications with you either." He said and a smile of relief crossed my lips.

"I should inform your husband that you are awake now, he has been so worried about you." The doctor said and left.

I just hope it is Dominic.

After a while, someone came in and I turned to look.

Dominic, as I saw him a slim smile crossed my lips.

"Dominic," I called his name with a cracked voice. I was quite surprised that he could hear what sounded more like a whisper. He asked me to relax and not stress myself.
