Chapter 1

Every day in Ghana marks the beginning of a new day, upon which the brighter summer smile it blessings. 

The central region of ghana where the Anomabo Beach is located has been bringing strange results to human.

The latest problem in the community is strange to ghana this days, aquatic suicide behavior which seems to be rampant in the corner of the county. 

     Few weeks ago, the beach washed a dead whale and hundreds of fishes at the bank of the sea. That was the most dreaded situation which lead to the suspension of all activities, giving room for marine divers and marine scientist to give a close study of what infect or may affect the ocean.

     "I will be on my way as soon as possible, Catherine" Jessica concluded and drops the call. Jessica is a female marine aquatic scientist who leaves a bit far from the beach but she's very popular due to her past work and research. 

She works with the Marine Research and Reservation, MRR. This is her third time she is going to the Anombao beach for her experiment and also very close to finding her answers. From her studies the sea is going through unnatural stress which she is not able to give in report yet. 

It was a dull and a dimmed atmosphere in ghana, unfortunately Jessica is resuming to her night duties, 

She was supposed to meet Catherine at the beach, where she believed she will be waiting for her, hurrily she find her keys and drive down to the Marine Residence at the beach. 

She listens to more of Christiana Parri songs, and she took off her eyes to change the song on her pod, which eventual change the bass of her speaker

All of a sudden, eye her just flashed and a heavy thud on her car, sending her a message she just hit something. 

Or it could be someone, she got down and there is the figure, she had just hit a fellow human, and she exclaimed almost yelling. 

Someone could be around she thought, 

She moved closer and it was a young naked man lying unconscious on the ground, she can't take another view the fact he is naked, probably a teenager or an adult in his twenties, too dark to describe vaguely.

"hey, I am sorry I runover you" she said shaking from her voice. 

The young man gasp and she was relieved he is a alive "thank God" 

She wrapped him up with her jacket and gruntly drag him to the back seat, heavier than he looks, she walked in her car and put a call to Catherine. 

"hi Catherine, I just bumps into this fellow, hit him with my car really pretty hard! I am coming over to office can you help with his treatment." she asked

"oh really, I am not yet at the office, so just drop him over. I should meet you there." I Catherine said from the phone speaker. 

     "Jessica what have you done?" She ask herself and starts the engine. The young coughs out so weak and stressed out. 

(5 HOURS LATER)

     "Oh you're awake!" Jessica exclaim and help him sit up. "I'm Jessica, I solemnly apologize for what happened earlier, I wasn't thinking straight."

     The man touches his head, looking at Jessica and not sure of what to say, he studied how to mouth moves up and down and could not get anything from what she said.

     "You don't look like you're from around here, what is your name?"

He fumbles at first, and stretched out like he sniffed something from her body, possibly her perfume

     "are you lost, do you need to get some where? ." she asked 

"I can help you, you know!" she added touching betwixt her chest

This young man looks at her as she gesture around, he assumed she was a potential threat. 

     "you re not much of a talker are you? Fine you don't have to say anything" Jessica replies looking confuse, she find a jar of tea and pour her self some. 

All he could do his watch her pour, and the drop of the liquid rand into his hearing so sharply 

"you know, You were few distance away from the restricted Beach." she started breaking down where he puts attention. 

He keeps quiet not wanting her to stay on his trail. 

She adds. "You were also shirtless! Why were you naked? Well it is obvious you were swimming."

At the mention of been shirtless, he looks at himself dressed in the ward cloth which almost made him jump in astonishment. He had began to study her language and intelligently figure out what she meant. 

She skipped at the mention of he was swimming. 

" whoa, were you attack by something. You can talk to me, I am a marine researcher and if there is anything going on, you can tell me." she said

A knock comes on the door and young man was restless he pounce up on the couch thinking another iminate threat is in. 

" whoa, that may be the Catherine. My partner and she is a doctor, I called her to take care of you." Jessica explained as she walked to the door and open up

"hey sorry I am late, I know I called you, I want to show up some of my reports when you called. Where is he?"Catherine asked

" um.. He is inside and he is kinda creepy!" said Jessica 

Catherine nodded they both walked in and this young man is no where to be found.

" seems your creepy fellow is not the one adding drugs to tea" Catherine said after inspecting the cup of tea on the table

"he was not here, not long ago, I am serious and I am not on drugs okay" said Jessica 

The next morning! 

This man slept in a barn, woke up to explore the street bare footed. He walked to a garden and stole a rainboot, he was at the path called the pedestrian walkway and two school boys were passing by. 

"the name of our new class teacher is Nai" said one of the boys. 

"Name…. Nai" the young man repeated the boys looks back and wave at him. 

"hi Nice to meet you Nai" 

Nai hardly wave by as the two boys run to meet up with school. 

His stomach rumbles and he is hungry, and he walked along the street, along the market side, he sniffed fresh fish, and am black man happened to be the vendor. 

He stopped by at the fish vendor looking at the fish. 

"hey kid" said the vendor

"you want some fish?" he asked

"fish" Nai replied 

"yes, sweet and delicious." the vendor replied 

"delicious!" Nai perfect repeated 

Meanwhile, Jessica was in the market purchasing when she sight Nai far away. She smile and approached him as he talks to the vendor

"yeah how much." the vendor phrased

Nai lick his lip and grab a large fish, he pinned and bite while he chew raw.

"hey! Shoo" the vendor yelled aggressively as he angrily approached. He grab Nai and tries slapping him. 

Nai waves him off the air with a single arm which amazed every one, he growl at him when he sees Jessica. He pick another fish and run off. 

Jessica run after him and he was just gone, She goes back to her car and drive the street if he could be there. 

Market

The police came to the market in response to the incident that just happened. 

Inspector Fayn and his accomplice were with the vendor. 

"your name is…."  inspector Fayn asked

"I am Henry, my friends used to call me the black fish" the vendor replied 

"your occupation?" said one of the officers 

"I am a fisher man and a vendor. This is my shop. And don't ask me if I am single because I am married with kid abroad." Henry answered 

"you said a boy attacked you stole your fish." said inspector 

"yes, he is a brother to either jet li or Jackie Chan." said Henry

The police looks at each other and laughed 

"what happened" they asked and he narrated to them

Marine Research 

It was dark at night, Jessica was tired from the day stress. She walked in the office and Nai was there sitting on the couch. He coughed as she enters 

"hey it is you again!" she said as she approached carefully and friendly 

"hi, I am Jessica I am a friend. What is yours." said Jessica 

"Nai" Nai replied the only thing he can recall those school boys called him

"oh, he does talk. Hi Nai, sorry your name is old school but nice to meet you anyway." 

She said touching his arm. 

It is dry and painful to Nai feeling when he stimulate immediately. He stood up scratching his body as they bled, he shriek and run out

Nai wail in pain, trying to run faster toward the sea. He just figured out that he can't stay long on land. Jessica runs after her with her torch and she could catch up this time because he was slow and weak. 

Discovering the water is restricted and dangerous she try to stop him as he get closer "Nai stop! You're going to get yourself killed."

Nai tear the cloth he wore and jump up as he dive into the water. Jessica is scared that he might drown and died. Another suicide she think, there have cases of divers that got missing in the water and this will be the only story to be told and how true it will be. 

     _"He might drawn and I'm not sure he can swim, I think i should save him."_

She dives inside the water with her torch,

Nai was down there as he shape-shift. He palms were scale armored and his body began to have this figure of fish tail, he just transformed to a merman. 

Beautiful tail and perfect appearance of body figures. 

Jessica dived in to discover Nai was not who she thought he was, that explains it. 

Nai shriek loud and dive toward her, and with great speed. His instinct is just to kill, Jessica gasp and swim for her life.
