79. "Little Picnic"

Lucas’s Point of View

“I want you to remember me, Harriet.”

With many regrets, I extended my hand and brushed her face. “I am so sorry, Harriet.”

I tried so hard to hide my heart.

Knowing Harriet’s situation, I knew that I should not pressure her. I wouldn’t have said that I wanted her to remember me as soon as possible.

The wind blew fiercely, causing Harriet’s dress to flutter and her blonde hair to dance in the breeze.
