Liam's POV

Ifelt a sudden panic rise in my chest as I watched Alice toss and turn on the bed. She was sweating profusely and her breathing was labored. It was clear that she was in a bad state, and it was all my fault. If I had been more vigilant, if I had been able to protect her better, none of this would have happened.

I tried calling out to her, but she didn't respond. I tried shaking her gently, but still, she didn't wake up. I knew I had to get her to the hospital as soon as possible, and I wasted no time yelling out for help.

Silver and Simone rushed in, and I instructed them to carry Alice and get her to the car. I scooped her up into my arms, trying my best to be as gentle as possible, and followed them out to the car. I felt her hot temperature sear through my clothes, and it was clear that whatever had happened during her kidnapping had taken a toll on her.

We sped off towards the nearest hospital, and all I could think of was Alice. I kept muttering to her, telling her

Liam's POV I stepped out of Alice’s hospital room, trying to clear my head. It had been two weeks since she was admitted to the hospital, and I hadn’t left her side for a single moment. Simone and Alek were handling the mafia business in our absence, and I knew they were doing a great job. But all I could think of was Alice and her recovery. As I was walking down the hallway towards the cafeteria, I noticed the guard who was stationed outside of Alice’s room. I nodded at him and continued my walk. Once I had my coffee, I started heading back to Alice’s room. But as I approached the door, I noticed that the guard wasn’t there anymore. My heart started racing as I pushed the door open, wondering where Alice had gone. But as soon as I saw her, all of my fears vanished. Alice was standing in front of me, smiling as if nothing had happened. “Hey handsome,” she said, her voice raspy but full of life. I couldn’t believe it. Alice was finally awake, and she was talking to me. Tears well

Alice's POV After being discharged from the hospital in Russia, Liam and I had to leave the country immediately. So we boarded a private jet that Liam had arranged, and we were on our way to America. The flight was long, and I was still recovering, so Liam made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I sat in my seat on the plane next to Liam, feeling both exhausted and relieved. The recent events had been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, and I was ready to finally relax. But just as I was starting to close my eyes, Simone and Silver approached us. "Hey, guys," Simone said with a smile. "We have some news for you." I sat up straight, curious. "What's up?" Silver placed a hand on Simone's stomach, and my eyes widened in realization. "You're pregnant!" I exclaimed, feeling a surge of excitement. Simone nodded with a grin. "Yeah, we found out a couple of weeks ago. It was a surprise, but we're thrilled." Liam and I congratulated them, and I couldn't help but feel a little e

Liam's POV Iwoke up to an empty bed, and immediately knew Alice was not beside me. I sat up, stretching my arms as I tried to shake off the grogginess from my sleep. I looked around the room, but she was nowhere to be found. I got out of bed, feeling the cold tiles of the floor under my feet, and made my way to the bathroom. I couldn't help but yawn as I started brushing my teeth, the minty freshness helping to wake me up. After I was done, I splashed some water on my face and took a quick glance at the mirror, making sure I looked presentable. I ran a hand through my hair, fixing any stray strands, and then made my way back to the bedroom to get dressed. I picked out a black t-shirt and jeans, and quickly got dressed. I checked my phone for any messages or missed calls, but there were none. I made my way to the kitchen, where I was greeted by the smell of fresh coffee. I poured myself a cup, adding just enough creamer to lighten it up. As I took a sip, I heard a faint sound comin

Alice's POV Iwoke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing repeatedly. I turned to Liam who was still sleeping, snoring softly. I gently pushed him and he woke up, rubbing his eyes. "Who could that be?" I asked, getting out of bed and slipping on my robe. Liam shrugged, "Maybe it's a delivery." I made my way to the front door, yawning. When I opened it, I saw a tall, well-built man with sandy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes staring back at me. It took me a moment to recognize him, but then I remembered who he was - Matt, Liam's older brother. "Hey, Alice!" he said, grinning widely. "Matt!" I exclaimed, surprised to see him. He pulled me in for a hug, lifting me off the ground. When he finally set me down, I noticed that he was holding a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine. "Come on in," I said, smiling at him. Matt stepped inside, looking around the house. "Wow, Liam really did well for himself, huh?" I nodded, "Yes, he did. And you're looking good too." Matt chuckled,

Alice's POV Iwalked into Liam’s office, breathing in the scent of freshly brewed coffee. The aroma was rich and intoxicating, filling me with energy. The place was spacious and luxurious, with big windows that stretched from floor to ceiling. I made my way to the center of the room, and my eyes widened as I gazed at the breathtaking view outside. I was sitting in the back seat of the car, staring out the window at the bustling city of New York. The buildings were towering above us, and the busy streets were packed with yellow taxis and people hurrying to their next destination. I took a deep breath and let out a contented sigh. I loved being in the city. It made me feel alive. The car came to a stop in front of a towering skyscraper, and I knew we had arrived at Liam's office. I stepped out of the car and looked up at the building. It was impressive, to say the least. Liam was a powerful man, and his office reflected that. Alice's POV I hugged Liam tightly, not wanting to let him go. The past few months had been great, and we had grown even closer than before. But it was time to go back to Russia, to my Mafia, to my family. Liam understood that and he was supportive of my decision to go back. “I will miss you,” I said, looking up at him. “I will miss you too, but you have to go back. Your people need you,” Liam replied, his voice soft and reassuring. I nodded, still clinging to him. It was hard to leave him, but I knew I had to. He pulled away and held me at arm's length, looking into my eyes. “Be careful, Alice. I don't want anything to happen to you,” Liam said, concern etched on his face. “I will be careful, Liam. I promise,” I replied, smiling at him. We hugged once more before I finally let go and turned to leave.
