Alice's POV

I climbed into the passenger seat of the black SUV, with Silver behind the wheel.

The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow on my face. I was wearing my black leather jacket, which felt soft and warm against my skin. Silver was dressed in a casual outfit, with a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black leather jacket.

We were on our way to check a shipment, which was one of our regular routines. It was a bit of a dangerous job, but we were used to it.

We always took precautions and made sure that everything was secure before we went ahead with the shipment.

After months of hard labor and lengthy hours at the Mafia headquarters, Silver and I decided to take a well-deserved rest. We had gone through a lot together, and we wanted to relax and revitalize our bodies and brains. We agreed on going on a trip to the Maldives, a little island country in the Indian Ocean. We flew a private plane from Russia to the Maldives, and I couldn't help but gaze out of the window during the ride. The vista was stunning, and the crystal blue seas below seemed tempting. I knew we were going to have a terrific time on our vacation.Upon arrival, we were welcomed by polite workers at the airport who took us away to the magnificent resort where we would be staying. The resort was situated on its island, and we had to use a motorboat to get there. The sight of the crystal-clear seas and the immaculate white sand beaches was a joy to see. I knew we were in for a treat. Our suite was a gorgeous bungalow facing the beach, equipped with a private pool and a sun porch.

I was sitting on the cold floor of the cell, my back against the wall and my arms around my knees. I've been here for hours, maybe even days, I couldn't tell. All I could think about was Alice, my beautiful wife, and what they could be doing to her right now. I prayed that they didn't hurt her, that they didn't do anything unspeakable to her. Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps coming closer and closer to my cell. I quickly stood up, my fists clenched tightly, ready to fight. But instead of seeing an enemy, I saw a man carrying Alice, who was now unconscious, in his arms. I felt my heart sink as I realized what had happened to her. The man threw Alice into the cell and closed the door. I rushed to her side, checking her pulse and making sure she was still breathing. I felt a sense of relief wash over me when I realized that she was still alive. I gently picked her up and laid her on the cold floor beside me. I held her hand tightly, feeling a sense of protection over her. I pr
