Alice's POV

Iwoke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing repeatedly. I turned to Liam who was still sleeping, snoring softly. I gently pushed him and he woke up, rubbing his eyes.

"Who could that be?" I asked, getting out of bed and slipping on my robe.

Liam shrugged, "Maybe it's a delivery."

I made my way to the front door, yawning. When I opened it, I saw a tall, well-built man with sandy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes staring back at me. It took me a moment to recognize him, but then I remembered who he was - Matt, Liam's older brother.

"Hey, Alice!" he said, grinning widely.

"Matt!" I exclaimed, surprised to see him.

Alice's POV Iwalked into Liam’s office, breathing in the scent of freshly brewed coffee. The aroma was rich and intoxicating, filling me with energy. The place was spacious and luxurious, with big windows that stretched from floor to ceiling. I made my way to the center of the room, and my eyes widened as I gazed at the breathtaking view outside. I was sitting in the back seat of the car, staring out the window at the bustling city of New York. The buildings were towering above us, and the busy streets were packed with yellow taxis and people hurrying to their next destination. I took a deep breath and let out a contented sigh. I loved being in the city. It made me feel alive. The car came to a stop in front of a towering skyscraper, and I knew we had arrived at Liam's office. I stepped out of the car and looked up at the building. It was impressive, to say the least. Liam was a powerful man, and his office reflected that. I walked into the building and was immediately greeted by

But it was time to go back to Russia, to my Mafia, to my family. Liam understood that and he was supportive of my decision to go back. “I will miss you,” I said, looking up at him. “I will miss you too, but you have to go back. Your people need you,” Liam replied, his voice soft and reassuring. I nodded, still clinging to him. It was hard to leave him, but I knew I had to. He pulled away and held me at arm's length, looking into my eyes. “Be careful, Alice. I don't want anything to happen to you,” Liam said, concern etched on his face. “I will be careful, Liam. I promise,” I replied, smiling at him. We hugged once more before I finally let go and turned to leave. I walked towards the private jet, feeling a mixture of emotions – excitement at going back to my Mafia, and sadness at leaving Liam behind. As I walked, I could hear the sound of
