“Once again you have made me proud,Jewel.” He said as he stood up and hugged her. Jana fumed inside her. She had intended to cause a rift no matter how small between this two. Now she had instead served as a link between these two. Her bitterness towards her sister only increased more. Instead of showing it,she gave her twin fake smile.
“Oh wow.I didn’t know that he was your mate, and I berated you about it. Congratulations sis.” She said as she took her sister’s hand. Jewel wondered with shock what the unusual niceness from her sister was,and thought maybe she had decided to have a change of heart. Jewel smiled at her warmly and gripped her sister’s hand. “Thanks Jana. You will find your own mate soon enough.” She said and that only served to en-bitter Jana even more. She sat on her seat and saw AlphaMarcus beaming at Jewel with so much pride.
Tears stung Jana’s eyes. Her father had never looked at her with such eyes. “Learn from Jewel. She is leading an exemplary life, you should do same,Jana. And quit giving me unnecessary heartaches.” Her father said and suddenly Anger enveloped her. She struggled to hold it back and instead gave her father a wry smile. “Yes father.” She said simply and they started to eat. “So when do you plan to introduce your mate to us?” Jana asked her sister, her eyes focused on her food.
“She won’t be doing any introduction until your eighteenth birthday, when she will present I=him in front of the council. I hope to the moon goddess, that you would have found yourself a mate and spare me the shame of being a mate-less royal werewolf.” Her father said. Jana felt her blood boiling, but instead suppressed it and smiled again and nodded. They all ate their dinner in silence and then after eating, everyone dispersed into their different rooms.
Alpha Marcus called Jewel with him into his study. Jana followed them quietly and decided to eavesdrop. “Jewel dear,I need your advice on how to go about this issue we are having. The amount of wool that we export outside America has reduced drastically due to the reduction in our sheep flocks.
I do not know what is causing the sheep to die,but the veterinary doctors are currently investigating it. However I’m thinking f not Just exporting wools alone.I’m thinking of exporting other agricultural products. But I need your advice on what we can export that would help to build the economy back.” She overheard her father speaking to Jewel. They now completely leave me out of Pack official matters. Father doesn’t in anyway rate me. I do not know what I can do to let Father acknowledge me or give me a little bit of respect that he gives to Jewel. Jana thought angrily as she walked to her bedroom.
She banged her door and locked it. She screamed into her bedsheets so that no one would notice her screaming. Am I going to lose to Jewel again? Why does the moon goddess always favour her? First she gave her the better facial looks, then she gave the most brilliant mind, now she granted her a mate first. Why does she always beat me first? Why can’t I ever beat her at least once in life? She asked herself in frustrations. Her mind went back to the look on her father’s face. That look of pride. Never.not once has she ever received that look from her father.Nothing she ever did made sense to her Father. All he ever did was compare her with that stupid obnoxious twin of hers.. And that Jewel. Thinking she’s all high and mighty now that she has gotten herself a mate.
“You will find your mate soon?” She said to herself, reminding herself at the statement that Jewel had made at the dining room. She wiped her tears off her eyes and thoughts ran in head. How was she going to outsmart Jewel in this one, because she couldn’t let her win again in this round. All she wanted was to get acknowledgement from her father and the Pack’s council of elders. Her phone beeped and she turned to heck who it was that texted her.
Jewel went into her room. The discussion she had just had with her father had revealed to her the economic hassle their pack was going through. She decided to go do her research on the one crop they could export that would help to boost the pack’s economic status. She quickly changed her clothes and took her night shower. After coming out of the bathroom, she changed into a matching Pyjama and wore a hair band over her long thick black hair. Her phone vibrated and she checked. To her dismay, she saw ten missed calls from an unknown number, and knew immediately who it was that was trying to reach her.
The number called her again and she picked it immediately. “Hello Princess.” Asher’s deep voice filled her ears and the sweet feeling of butterflies fluttering in her belly filled her. Her cheeks became hot as soon as she heard his voice. “Hello Asher.” She said and at down on her bed. “What is our princess up to? Had dinner?” Asher asked and Jewel smiled. “Yes I have.I’m okay.I was about to go to bed when I saw that you called me ten times. What the heck man?” She asked chuckling. “Well,I wanted to hear your voice this night or else,Ares won’t let me be.” He said referring to his wolf. Jewel knew then at this point that Asher already knew that she was his mate.
“Well,Juniper too really wanted to hear your voice too I guess.” She said shyly and he smiled.”Who would have known that my mate would be in New York City.” He said and she sighed. “Me too,ho would have thought so. That my mate would be a transfer student, and that he would waltz into my classroom four months to my birthday.” She said and yawned loudly. He heard Asher chuckle and she giggled. “Gosh that was so embarrassing.” She said and both of them laughed. “Well then.Let’s talk tomorrow at school. Hold on,have you spoken to your dad about the mate bond?” He asked.
“Yes. I have spoken to him. He said to postpone the introduction till my eighteenth birthday.” She said and he sighed. “I told my mom about it,and she was thrilled. She wants to meet you as soon as possible. Plus,I want to see your twin sister. Do you guys look alike? And is she like you in character?” He asked and Jewel chuckled. “We look alike a bit. She is a bit fleshier than i am. And she is not like me anyway. She is a lot more mischievous than I am. But the fact remains that you’ll like. Though she has a little drama in her,but she’s a very nice girl.” Jewel said and Asher sighed again.
“Well then.. Maybe you could stop by tomorrow at my place. So that my mom and little sis can meet you.” He said. “Okay perfect then. Hopefully my sister would come to school tomorrow and I would get to introduce you to each other. I need to get me some sleep. See you in school tomorrow?” She asked. “Yeah. I would see you in school tomorrow.” He said and she ended the call. She plugged the phone and jumped on her bed. Her mind fluttered at the memory of Asher’s beautiful smile. Is this what love feels like? Man,if this is how love feels I want to feel it every day. Having a mate is a wonderful thing and the feeling that comes with it is beautiful. I want to experience this everyday. She giggled and ruffled her bedsheets.
She rolled under her duvet and switched off her light and slept off.
Jana was irritated hearing Jewel gush over her new found mate and it pissed her off at her sister’s foolish love escapade. Worse still, her father had given her chance to date. “Hey girl. Did you see the picture that was sent to the group.” Her best friend,Melinda texted her.”Yeah I saw it. I tried to use it as a leverage to cause a rift between her and Father. But instead she announced that the boy was her mate.” She replied the message. “What?!The new boy is her mate? And she wait till you showed the alpha the picture to announce that he is her mate. That sneaky bitch.” Melinda replied and Jana scoffed.
“Yes the sneaky bitch. Now she has an advantage over me. She has become the first between the two of us to have a mate, and you ought to see Father gush over her and give her a thumbs up. I just wanted to whack off that stupid smile over her face.I have been thinking what to do,that would crush Dad’s respect in her and that would ruin her reputation in front of the whole school and the whole pack at that.” Jana replied and waited for Melinda to text back. “You definitely need to teach her a lesson. And I can imagine the look of mock pity on her face. How I hate hat twin sister of yours. What do you have in mind?”Melinda asked. Just then a message popped up. “Come to the witch’s palace and receive all you heart’s desires.” The message said and Jana knew there and then what she was going to do. “I think I have found out the best way to act.” She texted Melinda and then smiled evilly.
Love was in the air,so sweet,so alluring, how romantic it was as though jewel and Asher were portalled into their little world of romance. Every single day, Jewel marked the dates on her calendar that rested just above the chimney in her room anticipating the day of her consummation. She would no longer wait to be by her Love's side. They would spend every single moment together. With time their love had intensified and it was as though nothing would stop them from loving each other. There was a bond and a longing to be one. One body, one flesh and one heart. She shyly wondered how her consummation night would be like. In as much as she tried to not let her love life affect her studies,Asher was in everything she did. They sat together, ate together, walked together, practicals and school work and every other thing except that which was meant for the consummation night. Asher was not left out in this feeling. He wanted her, he wanted his soul mate. The transfer had been the best thing
“ you don't satisfy me the way I want. You are a total waste of my precious money.I will kill you and feed on you” laying firm grip on Jewel's neck he flung her across the room.“Alpha Marcus gave me garbage. You are not submissive to me. Take her away immediately” he said in fury. His guard walked up to Jewel and picked her up. No one uttered a word as they walked down into the dungeon. This dungeon had Ricks victims of torture bounded by chains and the whole environment smelt bad. The pain she felt was intense. She had suffered both physically and emotionally. Sometimes, she was kept under the scorching sun and since her hands were tied, she would be unable to resist the flies that perched on her delicate skin and fed on her bruises. Other times, she was kept in the rain till she fell sick and shivered because of the cold.Alpha Rick had shown her no mercy since the very day of the consummation that she was brought to him. The disappointment and heart break that she had felt had grieved
"Let the me go and I promise to stay far away from you"pleaded Jewel. Alpha Rick gave her a study look. His face carried no expression and just then a smile crept up his lips" while you are still alive,I derive pleasure from seeing you in pain". He walked away from her and sat on a chair."for today's fun,you will be given the liberty to decide what touture you will be receiving from me. If you ask me,I would say that I am being nice or what do you think?". Without would be less painfully but when this acidic substance began to seep into her injuries, she came face to face with what pain really looked like. Screaming at the top of her lungs, she pleaded for mercy. Tears where streaking down her cheeks and at some point she lost her voice. These things that Rick did to her were purely brutal but she caused her father for haven known that this would be her fate, still went ahead to sell her out to the devil that caused her ceasless pains. Alpha Rick watched this scene with delight and compl
“ stay away from me,I mean no harm”pleaded Jewel with fear. The figure walked out of the shadow and as it did,its eyes were gradually turning green. A man emerged from the shadow. He was tall and lean. He had very long hair that fell over his broad shoulders. They highlighted the his eyes. His jaw bone protruded and he had perfectly curved lips. He was a handsome man . Jewel never expected a man to lurk out of the shadow. She was on her guard. It was strange that he could see her, hear her and talk to her but what scared her the most was the transformation of the colour of his eyes. He was a mystic being she thought. Stepping back wards as he moved closer to her,she asked” who are you and what do you want from me? He did not utter a word. He kept up closing up on her and swiftly, his teeth became very sharp. They were very sharp as daggers. Jewel screamed as she ran away from him. She had ran a good distance before she decided to turn back to see if he was following her and she was reli
The table had been laid out perfectly. The food was exquisite and the cutleries glittered under the influence of the chandelier. They had been eating quietly till Joan broke the silence.“ Ana, how is the food?” she asked with a smile.“ It is very delicious. I love every bit of it “ came the reply from Ana who happened to be Jewel. Jewel had found her way into the house of the second Alpha of the Wyoming pack. With the help of the demon Prince, she had changed her form again. This time,he had made her appear much older. She looked like a woman in her late thirties. Thin and tall with a sharp oval face. Her jaw and cheek bones protruded to give her a serious look. She had so much hair. Her hair was thick, curly and blonde. She had worn a gown that was not so modern. These attributes were given to her to suit the person she claimed to be. She had knocked on this family's gate a night before, Jewel had been drenched in the heavy rain and she looked homeless. Alpha Aidan had not wanted to
Under the sky, gazing at the stars,Jewel laid side by side with Asher. Their hands were interlocked. Asher moved closer to Jewel and kissed her.“ my Luna”he said smiling.“you won't leave me for anything would you?“asked Jewel placing her elbow to the ground to support her weight slightly. She searched his eyes for an assurance. His words would not be enough. She wanted every part of him to demonstrate the love he had for her. She loved him so much and she could not even think of losing him.“ I will never leave you Jewel "said Asher as he placed his palms on her chin caressing it tenderly.“ I love you too much to leave a day without you” he said. Jewel loved to hear things like this. She blushed and laid back on her back.“how do you think our family will be like?“ Asked Jewel looking up at the sky.“ It is going to be a beautiful family. Two wonderful kids too” replied Asher smiling.“ I want three” said Jewel giggling.“whatever you want my Luna " came a reply from Asher. The night was
Chapter 11Micah did not mean to kiss jewel in the manner in which he did. He had lost total control of his whole being. Her innocence, he tears and her voice drove him crazy. He had not felt this way in a very long time. He wished Jewel would not be scared of him. He wanted to start all over. He hoped that she would not change her mind and decide to leave the house. He could not guarantee that he would be able to save Jewel from Joan. He thought of making breakfast for her. He was a good cook and he would prepare something nice for her to eat. When he had finished baking,he took the food to Jewel. When he entered the room,Jewel was still fast a sleep. She looked so peaceful and he was careful enough not as to bother her. He dropped the tray of food and walked out of the room. From Jewel's sleep, she could perceive the sweet aroma of freshly baked banana bread and sweet apple based jam. She opened her eyes and used her nose to trace where the sweet aroma came from. There was a tray jus
Chapter 12Jewel could have sworn that she heard someone opening the door. She had searched the living room, kitchen and even upstairs but had found no one. She returned to the laundry room and then there was the sound again. She ran as fast as she could towards the direction of the noise. Micah had gone out if the house and she was a bit scared of what ever it was that was making the noise but still, there was no one so she went back to the laundry room.“Looking for some one”she heard behind her. Turning back, she saw Jana at the door. She was speechless. Fear and tension griped her. It couldn't be. How could she have killed the four Alphas in a gap of three days. Jewel had beads of sweat appearing on her fore head. Her hands were shaking and her heart was beating at irregular interval.“Jana please " was the only thing she could say. Jana gave her a friendly smile. The same smile she had given to her when she had offered her chocolates and when she had offered her poisoned tea at

Luna awoke to a world she did not recognize. The air was thick with an oppressive darkness, and the once-vibrant colors of the hidden realm had faded into shades of gray. She could hear distant echoes of her pack's voices, calling out to her, but they sounded distant and muffled, as if separated by an insurmountable barrier.Struggling to her feet, Luna surveyed her surroundings. She was alone, surrounded by an eerie stillness. The obsidian tower that had been their destination loomed in the distance, its darkened form radiating an ominous aura. Luna and her pack ventured deeper into the hidden realm, guided by the shimmering light of the reformed Moonstone. The realm seemed to twist and turn, the very fabric of reality warping around them. Shadows danced and writhed, whispering secrets and half-truths that tugged at the edges of their consciousness. As they pressed on, the air grew heavier, and the path ahead grew more treacherous. They entered a vast labyrinth, its walls lined with shimmering darkness that seemed to pulse with a sinister energy. Luna's pack moved cautiously, their senses sharp and their steps measured. The labyrinth was a maze of illusions, each turn leading them deeper into uncertainty. The whispers grew louder, their words twisting and distorting like the labyrinth itself. Shadowy whispers: "Embrace the darkness... Unleash your true power... Abandon your futile quest..." Luna's mind swirled with conflicting thoughts, the doubts planted by the mysterious voice resurfacing. She shook her head, determined
Luna and her pack ventured deep into the heart of the forest, following the trail of darkness that had permeated their territory. The once vibrant trees now stood twisted and gnarled, their leaves withered and lifeless. The air hung heavy with an oppressive aura, causing Luna's fur to bristle. As they traveled deeper into the shadows, a mysterious figure emerged from the darkness. It was an ancient wolf, her fur the color of moonlit silver and her eyes gleaming with wisdom. She spoke in a voice that carried the weight of centuries. Elder Moonshadow: Luna, chosen protector, you and your pack have walked a treacherous path. But your journey is far from over. The darkness that looms over your lands is a consequence of a forgotten secret, a secret buried within the heart of the Moonstone. Luna's ears perked up, and she exchanged a glance with her pack, their curiosity piqued. Luna: Elder Moonshadow, what do you mean? What secret does the Moonstone hold? Elder Moonshadow: The Moonstone
The final leg of Luna's journey led her pack to the edge of the Luminous Realm, where the boundary between light and darkness shimmered ominously. The encroaching darkness grew tangible, whispering promises of power and chaos. Luna and her pack steeled themselves, ready to confront the ultimate challenge. As they ventured forth, the once ethereal landscapes transformed into twisted and corrupted versions of their former beauty. The celestial creatures that once inhabited the realm now bore signs of corruption, their once radiant auras tainted by shadow.Luna's heart clenched with sorrow at the sight, but she knew that their mission required resilience and unwavering determination. The stakes were higher than ever, and failure was not an option.Navigating through the treacherous realm, Luna and her pack encountered harrowing adversaries, creatures of darkness that sought to consume their light. But with each battle, Luna's pack fought valiantly, their unity and the power of the amulet
Luna stood alone in the heart of the ancient forest, surrounded by a circle of snarling, hostile werewolves. The rival pack, led by their ruthless Alpha, had sought to challenge Luna's authority and claim her territory as their own.Alpha: (snarling) Luna, your reign ends here. We are the true rulers of these lands, and we will take what is rightfully ours.Luna: (calmly) Your ambition blinds you, Alpha. This land is under my protection, and I will not yield to your aggression. The tension hung heavy in the air as the rival pack prepared to attack. Luna's eyes glowed with a radiant intensity, a testament to her unwavering determination. Just as the rival werewolves lunged forward, ready to strike, a thunderous roar echoed through the forest.Out of the shadows emerged a figure, larger and more imposing than any werewolf Luna had ever encountered. It was a powerful, ancient creature—a celestial being known as a Stellar Guardian. The rival pack froze in fear, their eyes widening with di

As they gathered their thoughts and devised a plan to confront this new threat, Luna and her pack couldn't shake the lingering unease that permeated the air. Doubts and questions swirled in their minds, intertwining with their determination and resolve."Who was that figure?" Luna wondered aloud, her voice tinged with both curiosity and trepidation. "And what did they mean by disrupting the grand design?"Her pack exchanged worried glances, their eyes reflecting a mixture of fear and determination. "We've come so far," one of them said, their voice trembling slightly. "But this... it feels different. Like we're facing something beyond our comprehension."Luna nodded, acknowledging the weight of their words. "Indeed. This adversary is powerful, and their intentions remain shrouded in mystery. But we must stay true to our purpose. We've faced unimaginable challenges before, and we've prevailed. We can do it again.""But how?" another member of the pack interjected, their voice filled wi
