Chapter 168

Two days has passed since One came into Alexander’s room. He had gone to meet her and after punishing her, she apologized and said that she was only searching for a book to read.

“But you lied that you weren’t the one who came into the room. You even pushed the blame to an innocent person”, Alexander had said to her, with a look of disgust on his face.

One bit her lower lips as it dawned on her that she already ran out of what to say. The last thing she thought of was the camera. It didn’t occur to her that someone like Alexander had cameras even in his room.

“I’m so sorry! I promise that I won’t do that again”, One pleaded but it fell on deaf ears.

Alexander ensured that he punished her and locked her up.

Her presence in the mansion was stressing him out already. But then, he knew that it was the last thing to do. If he sends her away, she would definitely go back to work with Grey and that was something he wanted to avoid.

The night of the next day was a lonely one for Alexander.
