Chapter 171

Amelia took in a deep breadth the moment Alexander walked out of the house. All through the period he stayed around, she was quite worried about Noah and Alexander finding a clue about him.

Alexander stayed for only a day, since he had other urgent things to take care of at the moment.

Once Alexander left, Noah found his way back into Amelia’s room.

“Hi”, he said quietly, causing her to jerk up in fright.

She took in a deep breath and held her chest when she realized that he was the one. Scanning him, she observed some blood stains on his knees.

“Are you injured?” She asked, with concern written all over her face. Noah took in a deep breath and nodded his head in affirmation.

“It was a rough night…I fell and landed on a rock”, he explained, with Amelia gazing at the injury and gasping in worry.

She took in a deep breath and sat on the bed, blank on what to do at the moment.

“Did anyone see you coming in?” She asked Noah who shook his head negatively.

“No one! I mean, I’m so smart a
