Chapter 174

Alexander barely slept all through the night. He was drowning in worry each time he thought of what might have gone wrong with Amelia. He just saw her a day ago but the way she sounded some minutes ago on the call was urgent.

“Is she having a pregnancy complication?” He asked himself again as he sat up and dug his hands into his head.

He was extremely worried and there was nothing he could do at the moment. It was late already and they warned about moving in the roads of the city at such hour, considering the fact that it’s dangerous.

Left for this, he would have driven all the way to the house to know what was wrong with her.

Alexander decided to take a walk at this point. It felt as though each minute he stayed at the room added to the tension, and so, he felt that some fresh air would help in relieving his soul.
