Alexander’s Pov

I approached the room after having my heart wrenching encounter with Grey. My heart was beating in rage and all I wanted to do at the moment was leave.

There was still some days left for the conference, but I could feel trouble brewing since Grey had promised to deal with me. I wasn’t scared of him or anything of such, but I needed no one to tell me that the best thing I could do was staying away from him.

Just then, I heard voices coming from the room and this caused me to lessen my steps. I slowly walked towards the room, listening with rapt attention and trying to figure out what they were talking about at the moment.

I knew that they were never on good terms with each other, but I never expected their relationship to grow even more sour.

“Why? Is the child I’m carrying a problem now? Are you going to lie that you weren’t the one who hid the contraceptive?”, I heard Amelia’s voice and for a minute, I thought that I had only heard wrongly.

“Wait! What?”
