Alpha Nathan's point of view

“Your mother said that?" I asked. She nodded. My smiling face dropped as I started blaming myself for always putting on a poker face. I guess I scared Zendaya so much. Since I grew up and took the responsibility of an Alpha, I hardly smile, or laugh. I always put on a stern face because that's what I was taught by my father. According to him, Alphas don't smile.

I can't remember the last time I smiled, and it is such an irony that Zendaya and Zoe are the ones that made me smile after all these years. That's why I said that I have a weakness, despite my father training me not to have one and Zendaya is my weakness.

“You are frowning again. Don't frown your face, it makes people misjudge you," Zoe said as she pulled the side of my lips to make it form a smile. I couldn't help but chuckle as I pulled her cheeks, she giggled once more.
