I stepped into the meeting room with Sebastian and Janet walking behind me. The Pack councilors all rose from their seats, their faces looking serious.

Of course, it's should be. This is a trivial matter and it requires everyone to be as serious as they could.

I took my seat at the head of the table, my eyes scanning the room before speaking. "Have your seats" I said, my voice firm. "I'm sure you're all aware of the incident that occurred earlier today. A rogue werewolf infiltrated our territory and killed two of our warriors. He has been interrogated but has refused to say a word. I want to know your thoughts concerning this" I said, looking at their faces.

I know most of them don't want me here, as they're supporters of Sarah and Clara. I needed to be at alert. I need to know if this is their doings- especially Sarah or, there's more to this.

I studied their faces, one after the other and finally, my gaze locked on Sarah but she held a straight look on her face.
