Skye’s POV

I felt like I was surrounded by fire.

“What is going on?!”

I tried to recognize where I was.

“It’s too dark. I can’t see anything.”

This time, I tried to remember what happened before this moment.

“I was shot. I fainted.”

I was going to check my wound, but I realized I couldn’t move. Not even lift a finger.

“What the hell!?”

I couldn’t see anything. I couldn’t hear anything. But what bothered me more was the fact that I could not feel anything.

No fear. No pain.

‘No pain?!’

I was startled to realize that I could not feel pain. A funny feeling came over me.

‘Am I dead?’

If I am, where am I?

‘Is this hell?’

Considering it was so dark, I could assume it was not heaven at all.

‘With how I have lived my life in my last days on earth, I shouldn’t be surprised that I ended up in this darkness.’

I recalled how I had mercilessly killed people that annoyed me. In my defense, if that even makes sense right now, I did not do so to innocent people. But then again, killing peopl
