Tempted by the devil

I wouldn't be surprised if the doctor fired me I was resigned to waiting for my dismissal after what I said. I no longer had any intention of staying here, I would return to my hometown and work at a local hospital.

After the big fight I had with Dr. Mark, I went straight to the nurses' station with my ass fuming, I wanted to keep my pride and not let some damn narcissist take it away from me.

“What's wrong?” Ross asks me, sitting next to me, after seeing my frown.

“I think they're going to fire me.” I answered, sighing deeply, while resting my chin in my hands.

“What did you do now?” Why was she asking me that? Am I always the one who causes problems?

“Dr. Mark, he…” I roll my eyes angrily since I can't speak because of the anger in my chest. “He's acting like an idiot to me.” I just muttered.

“What are you talking about?” She asks me confused. I wasn't going to tell her about all those intimate encounters we had, but about the doctor's enormous ego.
