Chapter 55: Ice Abyss

[Arielle’s POV]

My eyes shone while looking at the treasures that the Seven-Headed Hydra surrendered. There were all kinds of treasures—spiritual fruits, weapons, essence crystals, magic crystal balls, refining materials, gold, and gems. Most of the treasures were shiny and glittering.

Well, it’s true that all creatures like shiny things the most—especially dragons. That includes me, of course! Who doesn’t like shiny things?

I wonder if this seven-headed hydra robbed some people to get these things. As far as I can tell, all these weapons belong to the dark mage. Dark mages like to use scepters, after all. These collections of scepters all have magic crystal balls on top and all of them were of high quality.

“Can I go now, Your Highness?” the seven-headed hydra asked in tenterhooks. Efrain only glared at it, and the poor thing kept trembling in fear.

I chuckled in amusement. “Very well. Since you’re giving us all your treasures, we’ll spare you this time,” I said as I shrugged
