Book One: Alpha, We Got Divorced “My Sweet Miranda" He whispered, causing her to glare at him and his sneaky hands that danced around her body, setting it aflame. The burning in between her legs heightened as her eyes met his gaze that boiled with desire. "Let Me Go Darren" Miranda warned, ignoring the pool of water that was starting to swim down her legs. She wanted him as much as he did but the bitterness of his betrayal and actions caused tears to escape her eyes. "Let me Go now!" she ordered once more pulling a lust drunken Darren back to reality. He had messed her up and Winning her back was going to take more than their burning desires. Book Two: Never Let Go, Alpha So many questions unanswered and a close enemy lurking in the shadows, Miranda and Darren are pulled again once again from their dream of a happy ever after as an unfortunate event strikes. Darren had chased her and the enemy had pulled them close, it’s left to Miranda to fight for Darren as their memories fade from his subconscious. Will their live finally prevail or would we be left once again in the dark of what games fate plays?

Divorce served cold

Miranda's POV It was midnight. The breeze rustled before dancing into the room. The sound of the night was like music to my ears, it played a perfect tune and helped soothe my tensed-up muscles. As usual, the night was going to end up with waiting up for a drunken Darren and guiding him to bed. A tear slipped out of my eye and I quickly wiped it off as I had grown too used to crying by this time and didn't want to, at least not this night. My eyes danced over the already set dinner table before I picked up a Bottle and poured in wine, the wine we ought to have used to celebrate tonight. I still couldn't believe that I had thought this year would be different, Darren hadn't changed. With a sad smile, I walked over to the couch and sat down. The routine was like this every other night, the only difference was that today was supposed to be special to me. I sipped the glass of Pinot Noir as the clock ticked away. So many thoughts of what he could be doing out there flashed throu

A Visit From The Past

Miranda's POV For a minute, I thought he was shocked that I had made that decision, maybe he cared for me. He seemed so surprised, it could be that he was never expecting me to be brave enough to nurse myself out of his emotional abuse. I was certain Darren didn't love me, his heart was beating for no one else but Vivian. Even in her absence, I couldn't even compete with her, the mate bond wasn't even strong enough to make him want to look my way like I was a female. A female that he was mated and married. Deep down, the thought that I knew that once this was done there was nothing like regret even though I was already feeling empty. I had rather have a life than stuck myself to the hip with someone that didn't even love me. It took me a pretty long time to realize that Emerald was right and it was time to change my life, the right time to move on. "Okay!" I heard him say and if I wasn't certain at first that he didn't want me, I was now. His shock and the look of surprise on

Saving The Pack

Miranda’s POV "You know what he wants very well"."and since you want to feign ignorance then I will tell you, he wants you back home..."“What does he have to say about my decision not to return home?” I asked, my eyes leaving the contract that had just been handed over to me to stare at him.Judging from the not so invisible air pod inserted in my ears, I could tell my Dad was listening and would have something to say about my stubborn decision of not returning home.Michael nodded and said, “your father understands your reason and is perfectly okay with your decision but only on one condition, Miranda”.There had to be an option as I knew the kind of person Dad was, if I’m not wrong it had something to do with the Imperial Group, the packs business.“Well out with it already and stop staring at me like I’m going to run away” I teased and he nodded, “Miranda, you would have to take your original place at the company by being the general manager of the pack business and not only that

Goodbye Darren

Miranda's POVDarren didn't disappointed me at all and he did just like I knew he would. He ran over to her aide and helped her up, he looked so mad with rage and I didn't care. They were very stupid of they thought I had no idea of what had happened last night. It all made sense now and I understood why Darren woke up sprewing nonsense, there was no way he would have done the same thing if it was Vivian he had seen upon waking up or even blamed her for drugging him.It has been less than 24 hours since I left the house and she was already in.Did I really mean that less to him that he couldn't just wait till I had cleared out my things before doing this.I didn't even know what to feel, my guess is that the moment he left the pack house, he brought her home to take my place. He couldn't even wait any longer, he just had to have her now I was out of their picture perfect life."It's all a misunderstanding" Emerald cooed sadly, I use to care and prioritize him but not anymore."A specia

Without Miranda

Darren's POV Miranda was different. The mean look on her face had me stunned, to say I was surprised was going to be an understatement. Never have I seen this part of her before. It seemed like she had snapped and if I were to think of how I had treated her all these while, it was justified that she felt that way. I had let my rage and love for Vivian push her against the wall. It then hit me that I had wronged her and needed to make up for my wrongs. As I moved to follow her. Vivian stopped me, “What the hell do you think you are doing, Darren?”. “She made her decision clear to you and remember you chose me, so what are you doing?” She added before falling to her knees. She burst into tears, although she could melt the resentment I was feeling towards her now, “I am sorry Darren, but I don't regret anything I did last night” “It's been three years and I had no idea of what had been happening here, so I panicked and did what, I thought, was right” “I didn't know you were go

Delusional

Miranda’s POV Leaving Darren’s villa with my head in place up high, a promise not to return seemed more like a dream than a reality. It was far simpler to say than to do…while saying it for a second there I believed that I could do it. Staying away even from the moment I stepped out was hard; upon entering the comfort of my homely car, I waited for him to run after me and apologize, if not for anything but for his wrong accusations and his mean treatment all this while. I was waiting for nothing because he never came out nor did he send her out, after what seemed like hours of waiting… Emerald just couldn’t take it anymore, and I couldn’t even blame her, I had just agreed to move on without Darren, so he’d regret his decision and come back to me while on his knees, but here I was waiting., “We have to go now”. “Just a little while more, I know he cares…didn’t you see it in his eyes, it was like he was trying to reach us”, “So much for walking out of Darren’s life” she teased, makin

Pain

Miranda's POV “Michael ?” I stared at Michael who was standing at the door with a smirk plastered on his face, there was no doubt that he knew exactly who, I thought, was at the door. I would have said dad, but the person I really wanted was Darren, and I didn’t even care if at all it sounded absurd. The fact that Michel could enter my house uninvited and with the key had me worried too, it made me feel so uneasy and the look on his face too showed that maybe he wasn’t expecting me here now. “Should I be worried by that look on your face?” he asked, pulling me out of my reverie, “should I be worried that you had just barged into my house without me opening the door”. “About that, I am sorry I wasn’t….” “Expecting me to be here, right? Well, I am here…the question now is what are you doing here, Michael ?” I asked with a frown plastered on my face. I was so damn angry he was the one at the door, and he was at the wrong place at the wrong time currently, he was standing at the rec

Illusions

Darren's POV “Get this place signed over to Miranda” I ordered, and I heard a gasp escape his lips. Carl was surprised at my request and honestly, so was I, it seemed like I didn't even know what I was doing too. He had always known my resentments towards Miranda. I laughed at how stupid I was beginning to sound, not only him, but everybody knew how much I hated Miranda. I was doing this not because I wanted to taunt her, but knew how much she valued this place, after all, I had caused her so much pain, maybe this place would calm her down. This was the least I could do for her after the three years of pain I caused her. Not only have I caused her pain, but I have also made her lose out on so many years of her life. “Alpha, did I get you right? You want the villa after her name?” He asked, repeating my initial statement to a question. I turned to him and gave him a mean glare, his question wasn't the case, but rather he was the closest person to me and a means to transfer all

Drunk

Darren's POV “Getting drunk? Or going to find her” he queried, making me sneer, “I'm the last person She would want to see, trust me”. “Stop this now, before you regret it” Rudolph warned. “I was already in regrets, so what more was there to regret about, practically I am now a mess, so what good can my life offer” I mumbled. “This is not the right way to follow up on your current situation” Rudolph replied. “Let's go find her, trust me she wants us to” Yes, my wolf was so different from me, he was more mature, smart, and intelligent. Maybe if he was human, he would be much better than I can imagine. But I don't care what it is, or it isn't, I just felt pissed out with my damn life. I had always thought I hated Miranda and chose her after Vivian, only to find out that Vivian was no better than I had thought, and thinking Miranda couldn't do without me; she took a step I wouldn't even imagine she could. And now she's gone, I feel regrets, they were damn eating in my heart. How

Emotional Blackmail

Darren's POV “Alpha Darren!” The stranger exclaimed, making me clutch my head as my head began pounding harder. “I'm asking you a question, and I wouldn't want to repeat myself," I said sternly. "S..sir, a…alpha y…you had picked me last night from the club.” she stuttered as I got stunned. I couldn't remember ever taking her to my villa, what the hell was she talking about? I glared at her, coming closer “Speak the truth” I groaned, I could see the trails of fright in her, and she knew my capabilities, so lying to me was something she wouldn't dare do, and in as much as I wouldn't believe it. It was true, I sensed that she was speaking the truth. “B…believe me, Alpha Darren, you had insisted I follow you to your villa to warm your bed” “You had initially made so many promises to me, saying you'll give me enough money… You would never let me go, and you were sorry” she said as moved back on my steps, sitting on the bed I got my hands holding my head as though I could get it off m
