Chapter 10

After the video of Amy's outburst went public, she couldn't stay in the city. No school would take her, so Charles and Nancy had no choice but to send her away.

Without Amy around, I was able to focus on my studies. I even had enough energy to help tutor some of my classmates. Over time, I built up a circle of friends. But unlike Amy, I didn't use my influence to push people around. Instead, I helped them improve their grades.

Charles and Nancy didn't openly do much to me. Still, they found petty ways to make my life difficult.

Dinner used to be served around when I got home from school. But after Amy left, they deliberately had dinner an hour early, which meant I had to eat whatever was left over and then clean up after them.

Once I finished cleaning, they would crank up the TV volume as I tried to do my homework, all just to throw me off.

They were still obsessed with getting access to my bank account. They'd ask for the pin number every now and then, but I held firm and claimed
