38. Fast & Furious

"Soon, son. I'll tell you if we are ready to go back there. But you can only visit them. From now on, you will stay here with me and daddy. Do you understand, son?" Clarice said, ruffling his hair.

Caden nodded his head. "Yes, I understand."

"Good boy," Clarice smiled.

"Can I go to school too?" Caden asked.

"Yes, of course, son," Clarice answered, looking at Callum.

Grandpa Eliezer smiled. "Alright, let's have dinner now. I'm hungry," he said and began putting a hefty serving of delicious potato stew and garlic black pepper chicken onto his plate.

Clarice put food on her son's plate.

The rest followed and ate their meals in silence.

After dinner was over, the couple and their son retired to their room upstairs on the second floor.

"Daddy, let's play with my train and fire truck toys!" Caden said excitedly.

"Sure son," Alpha Callum replied, grinning broadly.

"Can I join too?" Clarice said, wanting to join in the fun.
