A car arrives at Alpha Callum's mansion.
A blonde woman in her early 30s exited the car. She walked to the guard, "Guard, can I see my best friend, Luna Viviana?"
"Good morning, ma'am. I'll ask Alpha Callum's permission first," he said, and talked to his radio connected to Alpha's office.
A few minutes later, the guard got an answer. "You are allowed to enter the mansion, ma'am," he said, and opened the iron gate of the mansion.
Mia smiled. "Thank you." She walked to the entrance of the mansion and was greeted by a servant. "Good morning, ma'am. I'll take you to Luna's room. Please follow me."
"Thank you," Mia said, observing the place closely. She's been to the mansion several times in the past, but it's the first time she will study the layout of the house just in case her best friend needs help escaping the mansion. Luna Viviana was currently held inside the master bedroom guarded by people assigned by her husband.
It looks like there will be lots of trouble happening in paradise.
They arrived in the master bedroom.
The guards opened the door and Mia stepped inside. She saw Luna Viviana lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, wearing a blank expression on her face. "I'm here," she announced her presence in the room.
Luna Viviana looked at her best friend. Her eyes were swollen with tears. "I'm glad you're finally here."
Mia rushed to bed. "Why are you saying nonsense things in your message?" she asked worriedly. "The look on your face scares me. Have you forgotten that you are pregnant with a child? If you continue to behave like this you will lose the baby."
"But my husband doesn't need me anymore! He wants to divorce me so he can be with his ex and their son. Should I just let them be? Should I just accept the divorce and move on with my life?" Luna Viviana whined between tears.
Mia took a deep breath. "It's clear to me that your husband no longer loves you. He already knows that you are pregnant, he should be happy, but despite the good news, he still wants to divorce you because he wants to be with his ex and his son. To be honest, it's a losing battle. What's the purpose of being married to a guy whose heart already belongs to someone else? Here's my advice for you: just accept the divorce and move on with your life."
"Easy for you to say that, because you were never in my shoes," Luna Viviana said bitterly.
Mia sighed. Her best friend is heartbroken right now. She must be extra patient in dealing with her outburst. Luna Viviana is the most stubborn person she has ever met in her entire life. She is the type of person who doesn't accept reasons and common sense. She always gets what she wants by hook or crook.
Mia rubbed her friend's arms gently, comforting her. "The pain of betrayal will last for a few months. Afterward, time will start healing the wounds in your heart. Just set your husband free, then move on so you can have peace of mind, and you can raise your unborn child in a peaceful environment, free from negativity."
Luna Viviana shook her head vehemently. "No! That's impossible! I can't do that. My husband is my life. The pack is my life. I am their Luna. I don't want to be alone. If I give up everything... that woman will take away all I have, my husband and my position as Luna of our pack. I got nothing in my name! Can't you see all the things I have to give up?"
Mia was speechless for a moment. It's indeed extremely difficult for her best friend to give up all the good things she enjoys in life.
Luna Viviana gritted her teeth in anger, her eyes flashing with rage. "I have to find my husband's mistress and kill her, so I can have my husband's love again. If only she didn't come back into my husband's life, my life would not turn out like this. I hate her. I hate that woman so much!"
Mia took a deep breath. "That's true, you have to give up a lot, but you will never be alone. You have a growing child in your womb. Stop living for others. Start living for your baby. Focus all your time and energy on your unborn child. Don't let negative things bring you down and turn you into a vengeful person. There's so much more in life to explore and enjoy than being holed up in a crumbling marriage. You have to move on for your baby's sake."
Luna Viviana ignored her best friend's preaching and continued her insane discontent rumblings. "The moment I have that woman cornered, I will cut off her head from her body, chop her body into tiny pieces and feed her to the wild dogs!" she said resentfully, her eyes livid with anger and hostility.
"Whaaaat? Are you crazy?" Mia's eyes widened in shock and horror upon seeing the severity of hatred in Luna Viviana's eyes. What she's seeing now is no longer her best friend. She was replaced by a deranged woman whose heart is filled with hate and vengeance. She suddenly felt afraid of what her best friend would do next. She could only hope Viviana would listen to the reasons and advice she was trying to drill into her stubborn mind.
"The pain that woman gives me I will return it to her tenfold!" Luna Viviana shouted, her eyes blazing with fury.
Mia took a deep breath. "No. You can't continue to think that way. You have to dispel hatred from your system. Hate will eat you alive. It will fill your mind with negative thoughts, making you suicidal or psychotic. You can't kill people just because you are mad and jealous. It doesn't work like that. The Moon Goddess will punish you for harboring such dark thoughts," she reminded her.
Luna Viviana shook her head, looking irate as ever. "To hell with the Moon Goddess! If she truly existed, why did she allow my husband's ex to resurface and create havoc in my marriage? She lost my respect when she allowed my husband and that woman to meet and reunite after a long time of separation. The Moon Goddess just wants to ridicule me and mock me. She is a false god! I will put all matters in my hands from now on. I will kill anyone who takes away my husband and my throne as the Luna of my pack!" she declared indignantly, her voice spitting venom.
Mia can only shake her head in sadness and despair as her best friend doesn't listen to her anymore. It's clear now that Viviana invited her to come to her house, so someone could listen to her grumblings and evil plans.
Mia decided to keep her mouth shut and just opted to listen to Viviana's grumblings, allowing her friend to release her pent-up emotions freely. Deep inside, she hopes Viviana will mellow down after the pain subsides.
After a few hours of nonstop whining and complaining about the unfairness of her situation, Luna Viviana finally stopped and looked at her friend. "Why did you stop talking?" she asked.
Mia smiled. "So you can talk nonstop and when your anger finally subsides you will finally listen to my words."
Luna Viviana sighed heavily. "So what can you say to me now?"
Mia cleared her throat. "In your current situation, you only have two choices. The first choice is to let go of your husband, accept the divorce and move on. The second choice is you will continue feeling angry every day, your baby will suffer in your tummy, and worse, you will have a miscarriage. Then you will kill the mistress, and then you will also end up being killed by your husband because you killed his fated mate. So, what do you really want for yourself? The easy way or the hard way?"
Luna Viviana fell silent, allowing her friend's words to sink into her thick skull.
"Please choose wisely before you do something stupid that you will regret for the rest of your life," Mia added in a serious tone.
Luna Viviana breathed deeply. Tears shone in her eyes. "You are right. I definitely need to think hard before I take the path of no return. Besides, I have my baby's future to think about," she said, smiling a bit while caressing her tummy.
Mia smiled. At least this time, her best friend's temper has finally mellowed down, and she's looking more relaxed now. There is a big chance Viviana's mood will improve in the days to come once she finally accepts in her system that divorce is the only way to end her suffering.
"Let's go out today!" Luna Viviana blurted excitedly, rising from bed.
"Where?" Mia asked, surprised by the sudden shift in her best friend's mood.
"I want to visit the mall to buy clothes for my baby," Luna Viviana said cheerfully, getting out of bed, heading to the closet to change her attire.
Mia smiled as huge relief washed over her. Her friend's cheerful attitude is a breath of fresh air. Viviana's mood improved dramatically, and she was amazed at the swift transformation. "Alright, let's go!"
After Luna Viviana finished dressing up, she and Mia left the house and went to the nearest mall to shop for the baby's clothes, accompanied by bodyguards.
While Luna Viviana was away shopping, Alpha Callum went to the master's bedroom and put the brown envelope on the dresser table containing the divorce papers. He grabbed three bags from the bottom of the closet and put all his clothes on the bed and started arranging them in the bags. While he was putting clothes in the bags, he sighed deeply. Although his wife is already pregnant with their child, he can no longer stay with her and pretend their marriage is still intact and smooth sailing. That's a big lie!He loves Clarice and his son Caden. He's a much happier man when he is with them. Their glorious presence completes him. After one hour, he was done packing. He informed his beta in mind link to take charge of the house and pack affairs while he was away.He closed the closet door, turned off the light, grabbed the bags and teleported to the rental house.A few minutes later, he landed in Clarice's room. She was brushing her hair in front of the dresser mirror and looked at him, s
After a few hours of weeping, Luna Viviana finally stopped crying.Mia felt relieved. Hearing her friend's pitiful cries caused her distress because she had run out of ideas to help her. "Are you okay now?" she asked.Luna Viviana nodded her head. "Yeah. After crying a river, I feel better, thanks to you," she said with a grateful smile."Great! I'm deeply worried about your condition. You can't keep crying forever. Now that your marriage is already over, you have to move on for your unborn child's sake. Even if you no longer wish to live, you have to continue living because you are carrying a baby in your womb. Do you understand me?"Luna Viviana nodded her head. "Of course, I do," she replied, caressing her tummy gently. "I will be a better mother and person for my baby." Her voice carries a sense of responsibility.Mia was pleased with her friend's statement, filled with positivity. "So, what is your plan? What is your decision?"Luna Viviana took a deep breath. "I will accept the
The guards followed Luna Viviana to her husband's office. She looked at them annoyed. "Even here, you are still following me?" she snarled."We are sorry, Luna Viviana, we are just following Alpha Callum's order," one of the guards apologized and opened the door wide. She entered the room and saw her husband sitting at his desk, having a discussion with his beta.Alpha Callum looked at his wife and sighed. "Is there any problem?" he asked.Beta Amir returned to his desk and pretended to be busy reviewing reports sent to him by his subordinates.Luna Viviana sat on the chair facing her husband. "I will agree to the divorce but on several conditions," she said calmly.Eavesdropping, Beta Amir secretly glanced at the couple, taken by surprise at the headstrong Luna's decision. He expected she wouldn't agree to a divorce in this lifetime. His wife's statement quickly piqued Alpha Callum's attention. "Go on, tell me your demands."Luna Viviana placed her notes in front of him. "These are m
After getting the gold bars from the secret place, Alpha Callum proceeds to visit Clarice and his son in the rental house via teleportation. He landed in Clarice's room. She was in the shower when he arrived. "Babe, I'm here!" He announced his presence cheerily."I'll get out in a minute," she responded from the bathroom."Don't rush, take your time," he said, easing onto the sofa, wondering where his son was.A few minutes later, Clarice emerged from the bathroom door wearing a bathrobe. "What's the news?" she asked, going to the closet and putting on clothes."I have good news for you," he said, smiling broadly. He couldn't wait to see her reaction."Good news? I love that!" she said excitedly, rushing to his side, settling on the sofa beside him. She looked into his eyes, smiling brightly. "Tell me the good news now!"He planted a kiss on her head. "Viviana has already agreed to the divorce," he broke the news, beaming.Clarice's eyes widened in shock and surprise. "Wow! Really?" s
The following day, Luna Viviana and Mia leave the mansion accompanied by the two guards. They went to the café to meet with the realtor and proceeded to the beachfront property for sale. The three properties were just a few minutes' drive from each other. They checked out the first property. The bungalow house was cozy and with a nice view of the beach. They headed to the next property. A ten-minute drive from the first house. They exited their vehicle and entered the two-story modern white house. The interior of the house was spacious, with marbled tiles, cozy bedrooms, clean bathrooms, an elegant living room and a shiny kitchen. A turquoise-looking pool at the back of the house completes the magnificent property. The house has a balcony and porch facing the beach. A perfect place to hang out, drinking coffee or wine while reading a book, waiting for the sun to set on the horizon. The long stretch of powdery white sand beach is a feast for the eyes. A paradise for nature lovers. The
A week later, Viviana was done packing her things and the servants had already put all her stuff in her car and other things in the van.She went to her husband's office to say goodbye. But he was not there. "Where is he?" she asked his beta."Alpha told me he would visit you tomorrow at the beach house," Beta Amir replied.Viviana bit her lip. "It's my last day here, and he doesn't want to see me? How cruel," she commented bitterly.Beta Amir scratched his head. "Um, he instructed me to accompany you to your new house today.""OK," she said sadly. "When are you going to release to the public my joint statement with my husband that we are divorcing amicably?""Tomorrow afternoon as per your instructions, Luna," Beta Amir replied."From now on, stop calling me Luna. You will have a new Luna soon," Viviana corrected him. She felt a sharp pain in her heart after saying it. She finally came to terms that she was no longer the Luna of their pack. She lost power and authority."OK, as you s
Alpha Callum groaned. As much as he didn't want to prolong Viviana's madness, he was also aware that she was struggling to accept the reality of her current situation. Now that the dust had settled, and she was no longer the high and mighty Luna Viviana of the Savage Howl Pack, her world crumbled around her, making her depressed, weak and emotional. It must be very difficult for her to accept the changes happening at once.He allowed her to cry in his arms as much as she wanted, and rubbed her back gently, comforting her. Despite the millions she got from him, she was still not happy at all. She might be starting to regret her actions after trying to act brave and cool in handling the divorce."Hubby, I regret divorcing you. Take back everything you gave me. I just want us to be together as husband and wife again," she said between tears, sobbing hard in his arms, clinging to him like she was drowning in the ocean of her misery. At that very moment, Alpha Callum felt guilty. He was th
The following day, the newspaper reached the masses, announcing to the public the divorce between Alpha Callum and Luna Viviana of the Savage Howl Pack. The news took everyone by surprise, reaching far and wide. After reading the joint statement between the ex-couple, people from all walks of life began gossiping about the real reason why the legal separation of the powerful couple took place.Meanwhile, in the beach house, Viviana was crying her heart out while reading the news. Today she was officially a nobody in her ex-husband's life.Mia rubbed her friend's back, comforting her. "Shh, don't take it too hard. Just be glad that it's over now. You can finally begin a new life with your baby in your womb. Days will pass by, and the people will forget what happened. They will easily move on from one news story to another."Enraged, Viviana threw the newspaper on the floor.Mia sighed. She picked up the newspaper and dropped it in the trash can where it should belong so it could no lon
She was transported back in time when she was alone sitting on the sun lounger, enjoying the lovely night, waiting for her husband to arrive with their coffee. Then came the stranger, intentionally dropping his wallet on the floor and her nightmare began...Clarice felt her heart beat frantically when she realized that the stranger was no other than Kaspar. He took her off guard, froze her and lifted her body, throwing her into the water without mercy. When she hit the water she thought she would die. She can't do anything to help herself. She screamed, trying to ask for help, but no sound came out of her mouth. She felt her body falling deeper into the water, but to her surprise she resurfaced in the water again and, out of the corner of her eyes, she saw the cruise ship sailing away without her.Nobody saw her when she fell into the water. No one could help her, even her husband.Horrified by her hopeless situation, she will die alone in the freezing water. Her dead body will be eat
A thousand miles away on a secluded island far from the city and towns, Clarice was wide awake, sitting on her bed in total darkness. She trembled in fear when the door opened. The light coming from outside flooded the dark room. There she is...Demetria, the bloodthirsty vampire, enters the room to feed on her blood again.Clarice trembled in fear. This vampire will feed on her blood again and again, leaving her fearing for her life. She fears that one day she will die and never be able to escape this room alive because this vampire will drain her body dry.Although Demetria saved her from drowning in the dark ocean, she was also feeding on her blood thrice a week.Demetria snapped her hand and light flooded the room. "How are you today, dear?" she asked, coming closer."Please let me go home. My husband and my son are worried about me. They think I have died. Please set me free," Clarice begged desperately, tears flooding her eyes."Dear, I just want to let you know that your husban
Two months later...The distraught Alpha Callum arrives at his Grandpa's farm, broken hearted."Gramps, I don't know if I still continue searching for Clarice in the ocean. We still can't find her no matter how hard we try," he said miserably."I know, son, it's very tough on your part. I wish I could help you. I'm also sad and devastated by Clarice's disappearance. You have already run a missing person ad in every major newspaper in the whole country but no one has found Clarice's body yet. The worst thing I can think of is the reason why we can't find her body is because some sharks found her first and we both know what it means." Grandpa Eliezer said sadly, patting his grandson's shoulder to comfort him.Alpha Callum wept quietly. "I don't know if she's already dead or alive. If she drowns, I just want to find her body and give her a proper burial. Is that so much to ask?" he asked dejectedly.Grandpa Eliezer sighed heavily. Watching the misery in his grandson's eyes filled his hea
Kaspar finished his one-week-long holiday on the cruise ship, making sure that Clarice is already buried in the deep ocean with no chance of coming back to the land of the living. He watched in satisfaction as Alpha Callum desperately searched every room and cabin to find his beloved wife. But he failed to find her.Kaspar was lucky that heaven favored him because the CCTV camera in the couple's favorite spot malfunctioned on the same day he succeeded in completing his evil plan.Since no evidence can point to him as the culprit of Clarice's disappearance, he enjoyed his remaining days on the cruise ship, unbothered.Aurelia and Viviana were ecstatic after he informed them that Clarice was finally gone and would never come back again. He told them that Clarice drowned in the deep ocean and her body had probably been eaten already by sharks and other dangerous animals inhabiting the deep blue sea.Carrying his travel luggage, he left the ship in high spirits, happy with his accomplishm
Alpha Callum arrives at an empty farm house. No one was around, so he put his bags in the corner and settled on the sofa, waiting for his grandfather to arrive. While waiting, he re-imagined what happened to his holiday vacation with his wife on the cruise ship.No matter what others said, he didn't believe Clarice had jumped into the ocean willingly. Someone had thrown her into the water. His wife was happy with him. She would never resort to suicide because they were blessed with a loving and peaceful marriage and had a son together. After searching the ship from top to bottom, he finally gave up on his suspicion that Clarice had caught a serial killer's attention and was abducted on board.Clarice definitely fell in the water because there was no way she could vanish from the cruise ship without leaving any trace behind. He was in deep thoughts when the door opened and Grandpa Eliezer entered the house. He was surprised to see Alpha Callum in his house looking distraught. He knew i
He couldn't stand the tense silence anymore. The agony of losing his wife was creating havoc in his system, making him desperate. It's either Clarice fell into the water or she was held captive by someone and held in their cabins. He needed to know what truly happened to her, or he would go crazy. He left the room and went to find the captain of the cruise ship."I want to find my wife. I want to know if there is a killer on the loose boarding this ship, or if she has fallen into the sea. I want clear answers!" he demanded angrily. The captain fell silent for a moment, then spoke, "What do you want to do, sir?""I want to search every single room on this ship to make sure no one is keeping my wife in his or her room. That's the only way I can be assured that she was not taken advantage of and not imprisoned in someone's room and held against her will," he said accusingly. The captain scratched his head in dismay. "Um, I have to warn you, sir. Not everyone will allow their rooms to be
Days passed by quickly. On the fourth day of the couple's wedding anniversary, they had a romantic candle-lit dinner inside their suite and made love all night long.On the 5th day, the couple spends their time in the pool area of the cruise ship and enjoys the jacuzzi along with other couples. They watched skaters on the skating rink for one hour. They also tried bumper cars, bikes high above the ship, and skydiving simulators. Then they proceeded to try a roller coaster ride, took the plunge and loved the adrenaline-pumping, exhilarating experience. They were having so much fun.The couple also went to watch a show in the theater. That night, the couple watched movies in their room and after finishing watching the movies, they left their suite and went to their favorite spot to enjoy the lovely night. They settled comfortably in the sun lounger and admired the star-filled sky."I want to drink chocolate coffee," Clarice said.Alpha Callum stood up. "Alright, let's go and buy coffee.
In his room on the second deck of the cruise ship, Kaspar put blue eye contact lenses in his eyes. Next, he picked up the black curly wig and placed it securely on his head. After a few minutes of fixing his appearance in the mirror, he was finally satisfied.Even if he bumps into the couple, they can't easily recognize him because his disguise looks authentic. As long as he doesn't talk to them face to face, his charade won't be discovered. Clarice may remember his original voice, but if they accidentally bump into each other with no choice, he will just use a fake voice to talk to her.For now, he would just follow the couple around at a safe distance. He doesn't want them to notice that he is following their every movement. He preferred to throw Clarice into the sea if he spotted her alone without her husband around.Putting poison in her food would be difficult because that would need perfect execution and her husband was always around to complicate things, and he had no weapon th
Days pass quickly. The day has finally come for the couple to embark on their one-week cruise ship holiday. The couple bid goodbye to their son Caden, Beta Amir and Lorey."We will bring you along next time, son," Alpha Callum said, planting a kiss on his son's head, ruffling his hair affectionately.Clarice hugged her son tightly, kissing his cheeks lovingly. "I'm going to miss you baby. I love you so much. See you soon!" she said teary-eyed."I love you Mommy and Daddy. Enjoy sailing on the ship," Caden replied, smiling brightly.Alpha Callum gives last minute instructions to his assistant, Beta Amir. "If something comes up, call me right away or send me a message on my email. Alternately, seek Grandpa's help. Do you understand?" he said.Beta Amir nodded his head. "Copy, Alpha. Rest assured I will take care of everything while you are away. You and your wife deserve a fabulous break away from home. Enjoy sailing on a ship."After the couple finished saying their goodbyes, they boar
