The tournament had been a huge success and as Spenser and I announced the winners, I could proudly say that we had the best of the best to protect the pack. I was worried about how some might feel after losing, but the decision to let them keep their ranks was the right one. I could see morale lifting with each passing day and wondered if it would be possible to not have omegas anymore.

Life was a constant circle and people didn’t live forever. I was beginning to feel as if everything would work out after seeing the newly ranked warriors in their shiny new uniforms. Maybe it won’t be as bad as I imagined. We still had omegas, but maybe if we no longer had omegas, it wouldn’t be that bad.
