I didn’t want Alison to give up everything she had worked so hard for. Everything she fought so hard for. I didn’t want her to give up so easily, but it seemed she was determined to make the changes and to proclaim me king. I didn’t leave my pack behind, so I could one day be called king. I did it so that I could be there to support her.

I gave up everything, and she was willing to risk it all when she took the life of the old king. We were both fighting for what we believed in. We were both willing to give up our lives to give our people better lives. We were both willing to give it all. That was what made her such an incredible queen and, according to Alison, what would make me an incredible king.
