The exquisite Diner

/Selene’s POV/

“Since I still have a lot of time before my shift, let’s go shopping.” She suggested and I shook my head vigorously.

“Did you not catch the part where I said I'm so

famished and tired?” I questioned while putting my hands on my hips.

“I thought you said it so Raphael can leave on time and leave us be, I didn't know you meant it.” she grinned.

“Should we go back to my apartment or should we get something to eat and rest before we go shopping?” she inquired and I tapped my chin, I can feel the excitement in her body so I just bobbed my head so she could rest.

“Let’s get something to eat since you’re so excited to go shopping, I’m starting to think that Gabriel was right, maybe you’re the kind of shopaholic he described,” I muttered and she stuck her tongue out at me.

“I know one affordable restaurant down the road, we can stop by there and gist while eating then continue our journey.” She suggested and started dragging me down the street without asking for my opinion, wel
