Banter with a stranger

/Selene’s POV/

“A new scent in the town, hi little wolf.” The breathy voice said and a cold shiver ran up my spine.

“Why are you here? I can tell that you’re new in the town and you’re the only one here, what is your business here.” He challenged and his orbs glowed a yellow colour signifying that his rank is a bit high, but surprisingly I didn’t fret when he glared at him.

“I’m here to live. My former pack got attacked.” I stated with my face straight and he looked me in the eye but I didn’t move my eyes from him at all.

“What are you? I’m confused about who you are, I will know if you’re a normal wolf, you should be scared of me but you’re not even freaking out or something.” He muttered and kept on staring intensely into my eyes.

“Well, I guess your pretty ranked to know what am I? Why don’t you stare a little more or sniff out my aura.” I suggested.

“I don’t know, you smell like a wolf, but you also smell like a Lycan, a very powerful being, but I know you’re not a Lycan or are yo
