The disguised delivery men

“Ring ring.” The sound of my ringtone interrupted and I looked at the strange number suspiciously.

“Hello, who is this?” I answered and I heard the clearing of the throat from the other side.

“Hello ma’am, you have a delivery from the Convenience store you patronized a few minutes ago.” a voice from the other end informed it sounds somehow familiar but I couldn't come up with the place I knew it from.

“Oh, you're at the apartment already? That's nice please just give me three minutes, I'll be there, I'm trying to get what I will eat.” I pleaded and quickly hung up knowing they can't do anything other than wait for me.
