Liam: Dream on… I am never marrying a person like you

"Sorry if I offended anyone; it was just an observation," Kira responded, feigning innocence.

Liam, visibly agitated, defended Lea, I am like what I am to others because they are nobody to me but Lea is part of us now so obviously I will treat her differently".

"This is some friendship that grew so strong in such a short time," Kira said.

Listening to her words Liam's face darkened with anger and others were not any better.

He was about to lash out but before that Tressa intervened.

"Okay, that's enough Kira" Tressa said acting as if she was trying to stop her.

"But babe…" Kira tried to speak to Tressa but was stopped by the glare given by Tressa.

"I said enough," Tressa said after which Kira bowed down her head. 

Then she turned towards Lea and others as she said "I am really sorry for what just happened, she was just a bit angry looking at Liam with another girl when our parents were discussing getting us engaged".

"What?" The group exclaimed in unison, stunned by the revelation.

"What the hell are you speaking?" Liam asked her angrily and then turned toward Lea and said, "I have no idea what she is speaking about" searching for any signs of anger or any emotions in her eyes.

At the same time Tressa also said "Yes Lea, Liam is right. At the moment nothing is set I just overheard our mothers discussing this with each other".

"Dream on… I am never marrying a person like you" Liam replied angrily before Lea could speak anything.

Tressa shed a few drops of fake tears listening to his words.

Looking at the Sean unfolding in front of her and the frustrated Liam, Lea thought to put an end to this. She placed her hand on Liam's shoulder and squished it a little ensuring that she was not angry and at the same time asking him to calm down.

Which worked like magic on him as he looked into her eyes all the agitation inside him calmed down, which surprised everyone around. They stared at him who was acting like a tamed puppy.

Once she was sure that Liam was calm, she turned towards Tressa and said "I don't know what was your agenda in approaching us like this today, and neither do I care".

"If you were trying to instigate me or scare me it has miserably failed" Lea added.

"But…" Tressa tried to speak but was cut short by Lea as she lifted her palm, an action indicating her to stop, and then said, " I don't care whoever you are or whatever you are to them but they are my friends now. Keep it in your tiny mind that I am not a pushover whom you can manipulate however you want and stay away from me".

Once Lea was done speaking she said "Let's go, guys" and left as others followed her without any hesitation.

Looking at them leaving like that Tressa stomped her leg angrily on the floor as she walked toward the other side to find an open space for a breather.

Once she found out they were coming here she used all her contacts to get the tickets for this event. She had been searching for them since she came here to make it seem like an unexpected encounter and try to spend some time with Liam.

But when she finally found them she saw Liam acting so closely with Lea with his hands on her shoulder. She was really angry looking at the man she loved since she was a child and was now showing interest in someone else.

So she approached them with the intent of spoiling Lea's name in public but she didn't expect Liam and the others to stand up for her the way they did. After all, how could anyone blame her it had only been a week or so since they met.
