In the Magical World of Dragons...

Within the grandeur of the Alynthia Palace, a sense of urgency filled the air as a young woman ascended the stairs with purpose.

"Princess Elena," a maid greeted her, bowing respectfully.

"Please, rise," Elena replied briskly before inquiring, "Where is my brother?"

"Prince Erick remains in his chamber, Your Highness. He has yet to awaken," the maid responded.

With a nod of acknowledgment, Elena dismissed the maid and proceeded towards her brother's quarters.

Upon entering, she found herself met with the concerned gazes of her family.

"Elle what are you doing here?" her father, Henry Beaufort, King of Alynthia inquired.

"You thought to keep news of Erick's accident from me, Father?" Elena's tone was sharp with accusation.

"It's not like that, Elena. Father merely wished to spare you needless worry. Erick's injuries are not severe; the physician assures us he will awaken soon," Daniel, her eldest brother, interjected, attempting to assuage her distress.

Elena pointed at the scar on Erick that ran from the chest to the abdomen region and the cut that just missed his eye by an inch and said angrily "Brother, are these fatal wounds you are calling as not so badly injured?".

"I did not mean it like that I….."

Elena did not let him continue and asked "I just met him yesterday evening, how did this happen, and who did this?".

Daniel just lowered his head in silence not answering her question. This made her even more angry.

Seeing her agitation, their father intervened, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Calm yourself, Elena. While we share your concern, we mustn't act hastily. This transpired in the human realm; we must await Erick's awakening to ascertain the truth."

"He was harmed in the human world?" Elena's voice betrayed her shock.

"Yes, and don't blame yourself because he came there to see you of his own will even after knowing the situation out here" Daniel explained, his gaze meeting hers earnestly. "Even I would have joined him, were it not for unforeseen duties that demanded my attention."

"We all miss you Elle but at the same time, we also know why you went there. So don't blame yourself for what happened to Erick. Let's wait for him to wake up and find out what happened exactly and then we will teach a good lesson to whoever did this to him" Daniel said to Elena.

Though her heart weighed heavy with guilt, Elena nodded in silent agreement, her resolve firm.

"Good. So, did you manage to eat breakfast or did you rush here without having anything?" Henry asked at the same time her stomach growled loudly.

They shared a light laugh before Henry instructed Daniel to have breakfast arranged for all of them, noting that he and his son had yet to eat.

"I just rushed here without informing anyone in advance. I'll go speak to my friends so no one goes asking around about me," Elena informed her father before heading towards the balcony.

Turning on her phone, Elena was met with a flurry of missed calls and messages from Liam and others.

The top message was from Liam.

[Liam: Hey, where are you?

Liam: Are you coming to college today?

Liam: Hey, answer back I am worried.

Liam: Lea please answer the call.

Liam: Are you not feeling well? Should I bring a doctor?

Liam: Lea???...]

There were numerous messages, enough to give Elena a slight headache.

[Lea: Hey, sorry I couldn't inform you guys before coming. I was in a rush.

Lea: My brother met with an accident so I came back home.

Liam: ...]

After replying to the messages, Elena waited for Liam's response. Seeing him typing, then stopping, she decided he might be busy and logged out of the messaging app, intending to return to her father.

However, her phone began to ring. It was Liam calling.
