Chapter 27 He Cooked for Me

While I was stunned, Terry had forced his way into my home.

"What are you doing?" I coldly shot him a look.

He ignored my nasty attitude and sat down on the couch. "I'm visiting you."

I scoffed disdainfully.

A guest? At most, Terry was an unwelcome guest.

However, my entire body was radiating with pain, so I couldn't be bothered with him. I went into my small bedroom.

I grabbed some medicinal cream and rubbed it on my bruises before laying down on the bed and covering myself with the blanket.

I felt so woozy that I immediately fell asleep.

After all, if Terry really wanted to avenge Michele, I could never avoid it. If he did not want that, then he would be gone after a while.

I slept soundly.

When I opened my eyes again, it was already dark outside.

My stomach was loudly growling. I had awoken from hunger.

I bitterly smirked. After my son died, I was all alone. I did not care about my health.
