Elena's POV.

“Are you reborn?” he asked his face puzzled.

Why would he think of this? It's a hidden fact and I can't even be open about it, I thought hard for what I could tell him to dispute his words. Looking at him, I smiled.

“Why would you think I'm reborn? Do I look familiar to someone you know? This question is really throwing me off.” I said while avoiding eye contact with him.

“No, you are just acting strange and all. And the way you get scared just by hearing his name is alarming, one would think you guys were lovers in the past life or something.” He said chuckling.

I scoffed at him, “Do we look like we are made to be? He's my arc enemy, he pressured my parents to sell me off in exchange for money. How would you want me to look at him, lovingly?”
