237. A fateful encounter

[Amor’s POV]

“We aren’t the bad guys, she is! She stole our weapons and ran away. Catch her, not us!” The men said in unison.

Celeste was standing on two men lying on the ground face-down. One of them tried to lift his head, but was stomped into the ground by Celeste. There was a lady sitting on the ground in front of them.

“Umm. Thank you,” the lady said, got up, stumbling and dashed in the opposite direction.

“Wait!” Celeste cried, but the lady kept running.

The knights surrounded her, and she stepped back. She smiled and looked at Celeste.

I stayed back and so did Morfan to see what would Celeste do in this case. It was an excellent opportunity to test her growth.
