244. Out of body experience

[Amor’s POV]

I could see myself sleeping on a bed in a room royally decorated in the typical vampire colours and aesthetics. Aria, Ez, and vampire doctors were all around my body on the bed.

My mask was long gone. They were wiping my body, dipping white cotton rugs in the iced water.

“What has happened to him?” Ez asked. “A werewolf’s body shouldn’t be this hot, right?” He looked worried.

“Indeed, king. But we cannot find the cause of his condition. His wounds were normal and have healed already. He should have gained consciousness by now,” the doctor said.

I was seeing them from the corner of the ceiling. It was then I realised that I was floating. I looked at myself and my hands were translucent yellow.

‘Wait! Did I die?’ I panicked, but then looked at my body on the bed again and my body was breathing. ‘Is it what people call out-of-body experience? Maybe I suffered a concussion.’

I looked around, and Zeve wasn’t there. ‘Right! What happened to Kaltain and Zeve’s fight? Who won?’
